Default 'Shy Page Dots' Only Shows the Home Screen Page Dots When You're Using Them

The Home Screen page dots are indicators that let you know what page you're on and how many pages you have. It's also a way to see how many more swipes you need to move to get to the first or last page. One thing about them is that they're always there no matter what.

A new free jailbreak tweak called Shy Page Dots by iOS developer ryst is now available in Cydia that makes it so that the Home Screen page dots only appear when you're using them.

For example, when you're at a sit-still on your Home Screen, the page dots will seem to disappear from the Home Screen. Out of sight, out of mind. On the other hand, when you're actually swiping through your Home Screen pages, the page dots will re-appear again to show you your current position and will subtly disappear after a few moments of use.

Shy Page Dots definitely feels very aesthetically-friendly. The idea that things only appear when you need them is a great philosophy in my opinion. If you want to give Shy Page Dots a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. iOS 7 is required for the installation.
