Despite being billed as a U.S. exclusive for now, it won't be that way for long with regard to Apple Pay's availability.

Apple Pay is built into every new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, thanks to an NFC radio antenna that is situated across the top of the devices.

Media sources out of Beijing say Apple Pay is headed to China (although Apple hasn't yet confirmed as much). While no time frame for launch has been confirmed, Apple Pay's rumored arrival in China will be made possible through a partnership with China UnionPay Co.

Given that we continue to hear that China's iPhone 6 launch will be delayed (unlike last year when China was among the first wave of major countries to get the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c) it is likely that these setbacks could similarly delay the launch of Apple Pay inside of the world's largest mobile community.

All we know for certain is that Apple Pay will go live in the U.S. sometime next month with global markets to follow at an undetermined time.
