On iOS 7, when you have a passcode and you enter it on the Lock Screen, the number keys that you tap on will highlight a lighter color as a form of a visual response that you tapped on the button. If someone is looking over your shoulder, they're going to be able to see the buttons that you're tapping on quite easily, and that makes you a prime candidate for being at risk of security breach.

If you want to improve your security so that people won't see that highlighting response when you tap on passcode keys from your Lock Screen, then you will want to try out a new free jailbreak tweak called NoPassHighlight by iOS developer Elijah Frederickson.

With this tweak installed, you can tap on the number keys on your iOS 7 Lock Screen for your passcode without them lighting up. This makes it harder for a thief to discern what number keys you're tapping on. Of course, it's not fool-proof, it's just an extra layer of protection.

To protect yourself even further, the developer recommends pairing this tweak with SimplePasscodeButtons so that a thief can't even see the numbers that you're tapping on.

NoPassHighlight doesn't come with any options to configure. You can just install it and begin using it. iOS 7 is required to install the tweak.
