Default 'iMessage7' is an iOS 7 Messages App Add-on to Give You More Flexibility and Options

If you use the Messages application on your iOS 7 device on a daily basis and you're looking for a little extra functionality that you didn't have before, then take a peek at a new free jailbreak tweak called iMessage7 by iOS developer r0r0.

iMessage7 will give you a little extra than you had to work with before. The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure the new features to your liking so that you can get to using them:

The first option you'll find here is the ability to fake a number of unread text messages. If you want to make it look like you've got a lot of incoming messages so that you can leave a social event early by saying, "hey guys, I have to take this," then this feature could come in handy. You can input a fake number of messages here and your Messages application will make it look like you have that many unread text messages.

The tweak also allows you to disable the return key in the Messages application, enable a black keyboard in the Messages application, use a slider to configure how many earlier messages that you want to load when you open the Messages application, and you can even hide the Status Bar from the Messages application for a more full-screen experience.

iMessage7 is a free download right now from Cydia's BigBoss repository, so if you want to give it a try, you can grab it now. iOS 7 is required to use this tweak, and it doesn't matter if you're text messaging or iMessaging the tweak can apply to you.

When you disable the return key, does it simply not work when you press it, or does it disappear? It would be awesome if the return key actually sent the message!

Don't want to fill up my iPhone and iCloud backups with unused Cydia dependencies and unnecessary leftovers in case it doesn't do what I want and I uninstall it.
