Default Apple's Upcoming iPhone 6 Release Causing Shipping Delays for Other Major Companies

September 9th is now only 3 days away and Apple is expected to launch their next generation iPhone 6 and new iPad models shortly after the event. According to TechCrunch, the units are so high that it’s causing shipment delays for other major companies. Apparently, an unnamed electronics manufacturer has stated that shipments for a high priority customer are causing delays in promised deadlines for other customers. Apple is thought to be the high priority customer because there aren’t many companies that need such a high capacity of units at one time and such immediate services.

The batch coming out of China this time though, seems to be more than the usual amount and may be overwhelming. Apple has reportedly asked for more units of the iPhone 6 than ever before, has a refreshed iPad line coming out, and a new wearable device dubbed the iWatch hitting the market in early 2015. The official announcement is to come on September 9th, but we’re not sure exactly how much information Apple will be giving in regards to their products. Either way, it seems Apple is taking up a lot more shipping times and the times other companies need as well.

I bet this happens every year. I guess we're all just grasping at any unreported minutia at this point. What we need is another juicy scandal, like when the iPhone 4 was leaked by Gizmodo!
