Just recently, we showed you an impressive jailbreak tweak called QuickScope by iOS development firm RTech. The tweak allowed you to search locally and online for relevant search results, as well as control toggles, perform commands, and even use your social networks right from the interface.

If you were impressed by the tweak when we showed it to you, but your pockets were too shallow for the $1.50 price tag, the same developer has just released QuickScope Light, which is a trial version of the tweak with an unlimited time period. In other words, it's basically a free version of the tweak with some dumbed-down features.

What you get with QuickScope Light is the ability to search for applications on your device and the ability to search for toggles that you can tap on to enable or disable the feature you searched for. You won't get the ability to perform commands, search for movies, use your social networks, theme the interface, and many of the other useful features that you get with the paid version.

The interface is accessed from the App Switcher interface in iOS 7.

Although the trial version of QuickScope lacks a ton of features, it's a nice way to get started with the QuickScope user interface and be able to tell if you like it or not. So if you want to give it a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. Keep in mind that this version of QuickScope is only intended to be an unlimited trial, but it goes on forever, so you can use it as long as you want to.
