On Tuesday, the very popular short video-sharing service known as Vine updated its iOS application with a number of new improvements to enhance the user experience. Version 2.2.0 of the Vine iOS application is now available in the iOS App Store as a free download.

Version 2.2.0 of Vine for iOS brings with it some improvements to the user interface. Vine notes that the changes include a new navigation tab bar, which the service claims can help users get around their application even faster. Users are now also able to completely dismiss the top bar of the application from the user interface for additional video viewing room.

Another improvement that Vine packed in this update is the ability for users to choose whether they want one of the videos that they're trying to share to be shared to the public, or to be shared privately only to an individual. This option can be accessed from the share screen when attempting to upload media.

Existing users of the Vine application for iOS will find this free update under the Updates tab in the App Store application.
