Default Five Great Jailbreak Tweaks for Improving Your iOS 7 Music-listening Experience

Music probably consumes a lot of your time on your iOS 7 device, so it's only natural for us to want to recommend some great jailbreak tweaks to you for improving your music-listening experience on your iOS 7 device. In this post, we will show you five useful jailbreak tweaks for improving the experience of listening to music in iOS 7. If you're jailbroken and you listen to a lot of music, read on!

Just a quick note before we get started; these tweaks are all compatible with the Pangu version 1.1.0 jailbreak for iOS 7.1.x, and will work with earlier iOS 7 jailbreaks, such as evasi0n7, as well.

    1. EqualizerEverywhere – $3.00

One of the most awesome jailbreak tweaks we've seen recently is EqualizerEverywhere. This tweak lets you set an equalizer setting for all of the sound that ever comes out of your iOS device, whether it's in your Music application, a third-party music application, your phone, or any other application that can emit an audible tone. You can set the equalizer manually, or you can pick from several different pre-set values. You can access the equalizer from the tweak's preferences pane, or from Control Center. Overall, it seems like an obvious choice for anyone that wants more bass or more treble out of their iOS 7 music-listening experience. If you want more information regarding the tweak, then you can read our full review on it at this link.

    2. Pluck 2 – 99

Another one of our favorites that we've seen so far is Pluck 2. This handy tweak lets you queue music from your Lock Screen or from Control Center, making it possible to determine your playlist on the go. You will be able to select any music from your Music application and create a playlist based on that music and start playing it. You can effectively create your own jams based on your location and mood, and it ties into the iOS 7 user interface nicely. If you want to learn more about Pluck 2, you can head over to our full review on the tweak at this link.

    3. Articon – 99

If you're into the subtle changes that a jailbreak tweak can give to you, then Articon is another awesome tweak that could be worth your time to look at. This tweak will transform the application icon of whatever application you're using to listen to music to match the album artwork of that media. For example, if you're listening to music via the Music application or via Spotify, the proper application icon will be changed to match the album artwork of the song you're listening to. It's a nice subtle change to keep your music icon looking different and also provide some information to you. You can read our original review of Articon at this link if you're interested in learning more about it.

    4. CustomCover – 99

If subtle changes aren't your cup of tea and you like bigger changes, then you might enjoy CustomCover. This is a jailbreak tweak that lets you theme the album artwork on your iOS 7 Lock Screen so that the artwork can show off different quality, such as a tear in the artwork, a border around it, or even make the artwork look like a CD. There are tons of appearance options to pick from and even background options available. If you're interested in seeing what CustomCover can do for you, then take a look at our full review at this link.

    5. #PlayMe – FREE

And last, but not least, we have to throw in a free one called #PlayMe that can make your experience while listening to music feel nicer. This tweak will animate your iOS 7 Status Bar to display song information about whatever you might have playing from most of your music applications (both stock and third-party). #PlayMe will strobe between the artist name, the song name, and the time so that you get more information while listening to your music. Because you still get to see the time, it doesn't get in the way of things. You can read our full review of #PlayMe at this link – when searching in Cydia for #PlayMe, don't forget the hash-tag, or else you won't be able to find it!

All of these tweaks have been tested to make sure that they're compatible with the latest Pangu 1.1.0 jailbreak; they may not all be compatible with one another.

Personally, I'd replace Pluck with mini player. Good article.

On mmi app none of the links on this entire page take me to the app or the article indicated. They open up threads from 2007 or nothing at all 😒
