Default How to Make Your iOS 7 Control Center Look Like Control Center in iOS 8

If you're a fan of the new look of Control Center in iOS 8, then the good news is that you don't have to wait for the public release of iOS 8 to get it!

If you're using a jailbroken iOS 7 device, then you can use the combination of a new jailbreak tweak and a WinterBoard theme to get the results shown above. The end result is a Control Center interface that looks nearly identical to that of Control Center in iOS 8.

You are going to need both a jailbreak tweak and a WinterBoard theme to make this happen, so it's important that you install both and not just one or the other for the optimum results. The jailbreak tweak that you are going to need is called Centrex by iOS developer Gabriele Filipponi and it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The WinterBoard theme that you are going to need is called Control Center iOS 8 by B3uB3u and it's available for free in Cydia's ZodTTD & MacCiti repository:

The jailbreak tweak provides the alternating colors in between the Control Center cells, while the theme provides the new lighting and shading.

Once the jailbreak tweak is installed, you will need to open, and then close, and then re-open Control Center again for its changes to take effect. Once the theme is installed, you will need to open WinterBoard and enable the theme and then respring for its changes to take effect:

After you respring, just open, then close, and then re-open Control Center once more, and your iOS 7 Control Center should look just like Control Center does in iOS 8 with all of the new details and lighting. Enjoy your iOS 8-style Control Center!

This seems to be a half baked tweak. iOS 8 control center has brightness icons solid black and Airplane, Wigi, Bluetooth etc icons are black with white background when enabled.

You know, it's post like these that make a lot of companies not allow beta testing to the public.

iOS8 is junk, there's absolutely nothing new that is worth an "awe".

    exactly WHERE is the difference...?

I uninstalled this tweak. There is barely a difference between iOS 7 and iOS 8 control center. Hell, there is barely a difference between iOS 7 and iOS 8 in general!
