Default Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week July 14 - July 20

This recap will go over the best jailbreak tweaks that we've shown you this week. It's certainly not all of them, but we think these are some of the most notable. These are in no specific order, and they're all compatible with the Pangu version 1.1.0 jailbreak for iOS 7.1.x.

    1. Randomy – FREE

Randomy is an amazing new free jailbreak tweak that makes it so that your user interface in iOS 7 changes to random color hues over a duration of time. It makes your interface very interesting to look at, no matter what you're looking at. This includes banner notifications, Lock Screen notifications, navigation bars, folders, buttons, and more. You can manually configure the color change durations, configure blur, color, randomization, and more. It's a little hard on the system's resources, but it can definitely give you that boost in customization that you've been looking for. You can read our full review of Randomy at this link

    2. handyDialer – $3.99

If you're always using your Phone application on your iPhone, then handyDialer could be a handy new addition to it. It brings T9 keypad functionality to your iPhone, allowing you to search for contacts or add new contacts directly from the dialer screen. It includes auto-text highlighting to make text more legible. You can read our full review of handyDialer at this link.

    3. HUDSpeed – FREE

HUDSpeed gets that annoying volume HUD out of your way when you adjust your volume level. You can use this tweak to adjust how long the volume HUD stays on the display before disappearing. You can make it stay longer, or you can make it get out of the way even quicker (which we recommend). You can read our full review of HUDSpeed at this link.

    4. ScreenLocker – FREE

When it comes to letting someone see your phone so they can look at something, you may worry that they'll look at more than you want them to. That's where a tweak called ScreenLocker comes in handy. It allows you to lock up your display so that no one can tap or swipe to get out of the interface that you handed to them. It becomes especially helpful when you're showing someone a picture in your Camera Roll and you don't want them swiping through the rest of your photos. You need to enter a password of your choice to exit the locked up mode. You can read our full review of ScreenLocker at this link.

    5. Slide to Reboot – FREE

Also worth checking out is Slide to Reboot, a tweak that lets you pick whether you want to power down or reboot your device when you hold down your power button and get the slider interface. You can tap on the knob to easily switch between power down and reboot mode. The icon on the slider will change to show you what mode you're in. Best of all, you get all of the new functionality, but keep your nice out-of-the-box style slider interface with minor modification in appearance.
