Default 'Fully Masked Passwords' Hides the Last Character of Every Password You Type in iOS

Normally, whenever you're in the middle of typing a password in a password field in iOS, your password is masked by little dots for security – this prevents people from looking on your display and seeing what your password is after you've typed it in; however, the last character of your password is always visible for a short couple of seconds of time.

If you're worried that this might be a dead giveaway of what your password is, should someone look at your display and see it, then you can now rely on a nice free jailbreak tweak called Fully Masked Passwords by iOS developer ryst.

With this tweak installed, iOS will immediately hide the last character of your password while you're typing in any password fields in iOS. This way, anyone that looks at your display will always see a dot instead of a character, as shown above.

The tweak works exactly how the developer says it would, and we can see how this might be a handy tweak from a security perspective, so if you're interested in grabbing this free gem from Cydia, you can grab it right now from Cydia's BigBoss repository.
