Default 'BlurSL' Adds a Nice Blur to SpotLight in iOS 7 for Better Aesthetics

iOS 7 normally has no background blur whatsoever when you open SpotLight until you actually start searching for something and your search results appear. This has a slightly ugly appearance in terms of user interface rules and it isn't very aesthetically pleasing. To fix this, we have a new free jailbreak tweak called blurSL by iOS developer twodayslate.

As shown above, blurSL will make SpotLight display a background blur as soon as you open it up, taking all of those Home Screen application icons out of focus and putting focus where it needs to be – on the keyboard and search field.

The tweak doesn't come with any options to configure. It's just a basic tweak for changing the aesthetics of your iOS 7 SpotLight interface for the better.

As you can probably assume, iOS 7 is required to install this tweak. It's also an open source tweak, so you can view its source code on GitHub at this link. If you would like to give blurSL a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository.
