Default 'Browserswipe' Adds Navigation Gestures to Google Chrome for iOS

One of the things you can do in Apple's Mobile Safari Web browser that you can't do in Google's Chrome browser for iOS is use swipe gestures to move forward and back through your history of opened Web pages.

A new jailbreak tweak called browserswipe by iOS developer twodayslate is here to fix that. With this tweak installed, you will be able to swipe from the left side of the display over to the right to go back, or swipe from the right side of the display over to the left to go forward – just like you can in Mobile Safari.

It's worth noting that this tweak doesn't add the forward and back animations to Google Chrome that you get in Mobile Safari, but the functionality is still all the same.

Browserswipe doesn't come with any options to configure – the functionality is automatically available to you after you install the tweak.

If you're into checking out what makes things tick, the developer has made the tweak open source so you can view the source code on Github at this link. If you're interested in grabbing browserswipe for yourself, it's available foe 99 in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. The tweak does require Google Chrome to be used, which is a free download from this App Store link.
