Default Parallels Access Made Universal with the Addition of iPhone Support

An update to the subscription-based Parallels Access remote desktop app was announced recently. New controls and gestures will be added to support operation on smartphones. Version 2.0 of Parallels Access for iOS has made its remote control app universal. Back in August of 2013, Parallels launched the app as an iPad only title and it was a way for Mac and Windows desktop applications to interact on Apple’s tablet. Navigation was made easy by using gestures like taps, pinches, and swipes.

Version 2.0 features the ability to register or login using a Facebook account, wake a remote from sleep, have iPhone support, switch screen resolutions, and include a new file browser. The new file browser feature allows users to access files stored on a target computer. Access will also include bug fixes and stability improvements in version 2.0.

Parallels Access can be downloaded for free from the App Store and new users can try a free two-week trial of the app. After the trial period is up, pricing starts at $19.99 a month for subscription and allows connection for up to five computers. If you really enjoy the app, you can get a 33% discount off a one-year pricing by paying $29.99 for a two year subscription.

Is that supposed to be $19.99 per year (for a single year)? I don't see how 33% off of $19.99/month calculates into $29.99/2 years?
