Following the major 3.0 release of Flickr for iOS back in April, Yahoo! has released another update that significantly improves the functionality of the application in the latest version of the application dubbed version 3.1.0.

In this update, users can now share their own albums to other social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. Users can also easily send them via SMS/iMessage, or e-mail if they would like to.

In addition, users can now add or edit tags and descriptions for photographs, and for those that would like to take advantage of notifications, you will now get notified when your photo(s) are invited to a group. Group admins are given the power to add photos to groups.

Apart from these new features, Yahoo! has baked in a number of bug fixes and performance improvements to keep the application running smoothly for its users. Existing users of Flickr for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Flickr for iOS for free from this App Store link.
