Default 'TimeDisarm' Makes it Easy to Schedule Your Device Passcode or Disable it Temporarily

If you've ever been put into a position where you needed to temporarily disable your passcode, whether on a schedule, or just for a little while, then you should shift your focus towards a new jailbreak tweak called TimeDisarm by iOS developer xsahoo.

With TimeDisarm, you can configure a schedule that your passcode will be disabled on, such as every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2-4 P.M., or some other kind of day and time schedule. There is also an option to temporarily disarm your passcode for a set amount of time with the tweak.

TimeDisarm adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure your schedules, and/or temporarily disable your passcode for a set amount of time:

From here, you can enable or disable the tweak on demand. You will also find two settings cells: one for schedules, and one for temporarily disabling the passcode.

You can set up to five different schedules, and enable or disable them independently. You'll be able to pick the days you want, as well as the hours for those days.

If you're planning on just letting someone use your device for a little while, then the temporary passcode disabling may come in handy. Here, you can set a time period for which your passcode will be disabled. In our example, we put in 2 hours, so our passcode would be disabled for two hours, giving someone two hours of free access to our device.

If you'd like to give TimeDisarm a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for just $1.49. The tweak does require iOS 7 and a passcode to be used.

Are you serious? Is $1.49 really so far away from $0.99 to warrant shock or outrage? I don't see why it's not worth at least a dollar if it's useful to you.

I don't know why people feel entitled to free software. Anything you want to download and be able to use every day afterwards is worth at least a dollar to a dollar and a half. Free software is cool, but there's nothing wrong with charging 50 over the bare minimum.
