For keeping that gorgeous wallpaper that you have from looking bad due to the color and positioning of the Lock Screen date and time, you can use a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed LockThrough by iOS developer Jay Zuerndorfer to set a custom opacity for both the Lock Screen date and time, as shown above.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you will be able to configure an opacity level by way of a slider adjustment and enable or disable the tweak on demand:



In addition, you will find an Activator cell for toggling the tweak on or off. To use this feature, you will need to have Activator installed it will not be installed automatically when you install LockThrough, so you may have to install it manually if it's not already installed on your device.
