    Default 'Sectional' Lets You Bring Control Center Up in Sections


    Apple's Control Center is a feature that shipped with iOS 7, letting you access toggles, a brightness slider, your music controls, and application shortcuts by simply dragging up from the bottom of the display. Out of the box, Apple partitioned sections in Control Center with separator lines.

    iOS developer Ryan Petrich has just released a new free jailbreak tweak called Sectional that will allow you to open Control Center section by section, as shown above.

    You can open Control Center one section at a time, or multiple sections at a time – it really doesn't matter. When you drag up slightly, but not all the way, Control Center will open at the closest section to your stopping point.

    If you're in the middle of watching a video, and don't want Control Center to take up most or all of the display, this tweak could come in handy, as you can have Control Center only partially open and yet fully functional.

    The tweak is made available for free in Ryan Petrich's beta repository. If you want to add Sectional to your jailbroken iOS device, add Ryan Petrich’s beta repository by following the steps below:


    • tap on the Manage tab
    • tap on the Sources button
    • tap on the Edit button
    • tap on the Add button
    • enter the following URL and then tap Add Source:
