Default 'WallCycler' Cycles Your Wallpaper With Images From One of Your Photo Albums

For those of you looking to have a fresh new wallpaper each time you unlock your iOS device, iOS developer Ryan Petrich has a solution for you. He has just released a new free beta jailbreak tweak on his beta repository called WallCycler that will do such a thing for you automatically.

WallCycler works by using photos in your Photo Library as your wallpaper. Each time you unlock your iOS device, your wallpaper will change to a different photo from your Photo Library, so that means, your wallpaper will be different each time you unlock your iOS device.

When you visit your Wallpaper & Brightness preferences pane in the Settings application, you will be able to choose the album in your Photo Library that the tweak will draw its photos from. In our case, we only have one album, the Camera Roll so that's the one we chose to use:

Once an album has been configured, your wallpaper will begin changing each time you unlock your iOS device.

It's worth noting that WallCycler has Activator integration as well. If at any point a photo pops up as your wallpaper that you don't really like that much, you can use an Activator action of your choice to force your wallpaper to cycle again:

WallCycler does not attempt to make your photos fit the display, instead, the tweak will always fill the display with the photo the best that it can without scaling or stretching the photo at all. With that being said, sometimes the focus of the photograph can be cut out of the display when it gets set as your wallpaper, so because of this, we recommend just cycling to a new wallpaper with Activator if this happens to you.

The tweak is made available for free in Ryan Petrich's beta repository. If you want to add WallCycler to your jailbroken iOS device, add Ryan Petrich’s beta repository by following the steps below:

I downloaded it and it works great but the only downside is that you can't specify if you want it to be on the lock screen or home screen. It HAS to be on both. Even if you set an album to cycle through then go back and pick another wallpaper for the home screen or lock screen it will show the first time then just cycle after that.

It is a good start. I only hope Mr. Petrich make it more like BossPaper, to allow other pictures than the photo app. Then i would be in heaven.
