Default 'Circlet' Changes Status Bar Level Indicators to Customizable and Minimalistic Circles

If you're looking for a new way to visualize your remaining battery power, your cellular signal strength, or your Wi-Fi signal strength, then look no further than a new jailbreak tweak dubbed Circlet by iOS developer Julian Weiss.

Circlet gives you an all-new way to display the level indicators in the Status Bar, as you can see above. The tweak makes use of circles, and depending on the user's taste, the circle can fill up in a radial pattern, a straight up and down pattern, or a concentric pattern.

Circlet also lets you configure the size and color of these circular indicators depending on your tastes. All of the options are configured via the preferences pane that is added to the Settings application:

From here, you can enable or disable the tweak individually for the cellular signal, Wi-Fi signal, and battery level. You can also go into the Adjustments cell for each one and configure the colors, sizes, and fill styles (you can leave this as default, or invert them).

For the cellular signal, you will be able to choose a dark color for light interfaces, and a light color for dark interfaces. For the Wi-Fi signal, you will be able to choose a dark color for the Wi-Fi signal for light interfaces, a light color for the Wi-Fi signal for dark interfaces, a dark color for the cellular data for light interfaces, and alight color for the cellular data for dark interfaces. For the battery level, you will be able to choose a light color for dark interfaces, a dark color for light interfaces, a light color for charging for dark interfaces, and a dark color for charging for light interfaces.

You can pick from a variety of pre-set colors, or make a custom color of your choice using a color picker. Next, you can pick from the sizes, which are small, medium, and large. Lastly, you can pick between Radial, Fill, or Concentric fill patterns for the circles.

Each time you make changes, you will need to go back to the main preferences pane and tap on the Apply button. No respring is necessary, but the Apply button will save your changes. In the end, you might end up with a bunch of different sizes and colors for each, or a nice uniform look:

It is worth mentioning that all of the customization is done through the tweak itself without the need for WinterBoard or Alkaline. Circlet is fully-compatible with iOS 7 on iPhones and iPod touches, with iPad support coming in the future, and many updates are to come with additional features and options. The developer also shares that he will make the tweak open source in the near future as well.

If you would like to give Circlet a try for the stunning new simplistic appearance that it can give to your iOS 7 Status Bar, then you will find it in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for just 99.
