Default 'BatteryFullAlert' Lets You Know When Your iOS Device's Battery is Truly Fully Charged

Just because your battery percentage indicator says 100% after you've had your iOS device plugged into the wall for a while doesn't necessarily mean that your device is truly fully charged. It can still keep accepting a small amount of power even past 100% charge.

A new free jailbreak tweak called BatteryFullAlert by iOS developer Suu is now available in Cydia that will alert you when your iOS device is truly fully charged.

As shown above, when the tweak sees that your device is truly fully charged, you will get an alert notification that tells you when the device is truly fully charged, and will tell you the temperature of the battery in degrees Celsius.

While most people will be glad to unhook their iOS device from the charger at anywhere from 90-100% battery percentage, some will enjoy having the ability to tell when their battery is truly fully charged.

BatteryFullAlert doesn't have any options to configure. If you would like to give it a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak does require iOS 7 to be installed.

    Name: BatteryFullAlert
    Price: FREE
    Version: 0.0.1-12
    Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.6
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.6
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: Suu
    Editor's Rating:  4/5

So when it says 100 on the battery indicator. It doesn't mean it's 100 percent charged... Weird....

    Leave it on power longer
And turn it off when charging
    That will sort it out

Yeah, sometimes it's not fully accurate. This is apparent when you respring and your battery percentage suddenly changes to something else.

It's a shame this only alerts with a popup and not with an audible alert.. The user has to check their device periodically before going into discharge state without one. Kind of makes the tweak useless.

It does have a alert when fully charged.

What does the sound for full charge sound like? I'm still only seeing pop ups.

its after 15-20 min after it says 100 percent. it should have a chime and show the notification box stating its full charged plus the battery temp.
