Default Disable Cover Flow in the iOS 7 Music Application With 'NoCoverFlow7'

If you're one of the many people that really doesn't like taking advantage of the Cover Flow feature in the Music application, or you're really annoyed by how it just seems to open up on you when you accidentally move your device into landscape mode, then rest assured knowing that you can completely disable the feature.

Those running iOS 5 and iOS 6 can check out a free jailbreak tweak by the name of NoCoverFlow by iOS developer Ryan Petrich we showed it to you back in 2012. On the other hand, if you're running iOS 7, then you can check out a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed NoCoverFlow7 by iOS developer Jason Recillo.

With this tweak installed, you can rotate your Music application in iOS 7 into landscape mode and Cover Flow will never open.

Without Cover Flow being enabled, you won't have to worry about it accidentally opening on you, and you can have one less unused feature on your iOS device. Other features of the Music application will continue to function normally.

Unfortunately, unlike Ryan Petrich's version of the tweak for iOS 5 and iOS 7, NoCoverFlow7 will not enable landscape mode in the Music application as an alternative to Cover Flow being disabled.

If you would like to give NoCoverFlow7 a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak has no options to configure, and you need to be running iOS 7 to install it.

    Name: NoCoverFlow7
    Price: FREE
    Version: 1.0-1
    Requirements: iOS 7.0-7.0.6
Tested on: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.6
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: Jason Recillo
    Editor's Rating:  4/5

So this is basically portrait orientation lock for Music.app and nothing more? That's too bad there isn't a landscape mode so I could see my songs with longer titles.
They can have my jailbreak when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Anybody know of a tweak to recover the iOS 6 (and earlier) cover flow on iOS7? I find the mosaic of album images in iOS7 totally useless.

+1 it looks so tacky, just a giant mess of covers. I like the iOS 6 version better please bring it back!

It's possible I haven't spent the time, but is there any order to the cover flow mess?! It seems it's just a big chaotic mess...
