On Thursday, the highly popular Camera+ application, an alternative to Apple's stock Camera application that offers a ton of features you just can't get from Apple's own Camera application, has been updated to version 5.1.

The update adds a new option that gives the user the ability to choose the section that they want to begin in each time they edit their photos. A new boost feature has also been added, allowing users to increase the intensity of their photograph filters by up to 200%. And not only that, users can now also take photographs with a new 16x9 resolution.

The update also fixes a few minor bugs, including one that could cause photos to disappear, as well as other miscellaneous bugs that the app developers note only happened on certain kinds of devices.

Existing users of the Camera+ application will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of the Camera+ application for $1.99 from this App Store link.
