For those that like the idea of having a binary or hexadecimal style clock in the Status Bar, a new jailbreak tweak called GeekClock for iOS 7 by iOS developer Riki Oktarianto is now available in Cydia that will let you do just that, as shown above. The binary clock is shown on the left, and the hexadecimal clock is shown on the right.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to your Settings application where you can configure a few options:

You can enable or disable the tweak on demand, hide or show your custom Status Bar clock on the Lock Screen, and switch between binary or hexadecimal clocks on demand from the picker menu. Each time you make changes to the Status Bar clock, you will need to tap on the "Apply Changes" button for them to take effect. This won't respring your device, but the changes will be instantaneous after tapping on the button.

Obviously this tweak is aimed at those that can actually read binary or hexadecimal clocks. If you don't know how, you might need to pull up an Internet guide each time to try to read it.

If you want to give GeekClock for iOS 7 a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository for $1.00. The tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.
