Default 'Bluepicker' Lets You Connect to Bluetooth Devices Easily Through the Use of Activator

Bluetooth peripherals for iOS devices are a dime-a-dozen these days, and chances are, many of you have a few of them yourselves. If you want to make it easier to connect to these devices without having to go into the Settings application and then into the Bluetooth preferences pane, check out a new add-on for Activator called Bluepicker by iOS developer Julian Weiss.

With this tweak, you can easily hook up to any of your Bluetooth devices by using an Activator gesture. When you configure the Activator gesture that you want to use, and then you invoke it, you'll get the interface shown above that allows you to quickly connect and disconnect from your Bluetooth devices.

If you're connected to the device already, and you select the device, you'll disconnect from the device, but if you're not connected tot he device already, and you select the device, you'll connect to the device.

If you're using a Bluetooth speaker, this tweak will come in handy when you're in a music application and want to quickly connect to that speaker without even leaving the music application interface. You won't have to leave the music application that you're using to go into the Settings application, and it's super simple to pair your device to the Bluetooth speaker.

If you want to give Bluepicker a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7, and will install Activator if you don't have it already. Bluepicker is an open-source jailbreak tweak and its source code can be viewed on Github via this link.

Soooo, I love this tweak. I wish the dev could add an activator setup for connecting and disconnecting paired devices. Example: for the selector I use hold volume down. What about volume up for quick toggle?

What would be great is having a tweak to choose which equalizer setting apply to each bluetooth device, my BT earpiece is fine without EQ, my car BT system needs to be equalized or it sounds like crap.

I don't think you want to do that. Combined, the paired devices may become self-aware and give rise to an entire race of machines which will conquer the earth and enslave humanity forever!!!
