Default 'RightX' Moves the iOS 7 Mobile Safari Close Tab Button to the Right Side

Mobile Safari was given a completely different style interface in iOS 7. The new animations of the application along with the transparency in layers, make the Web browser a lot more stylish. In Mobile Safari, like other interfaces in iOS, where there's something that can be modifed, the jailbreak community will find a way.

A new free jailbreak tweak called RightX by iOS developer Julian Weiss is one such jailbreak tweak that modifies a part of Mobile Safari's user interface in iOS 7.

The tweak simply moves the close tab 'x' button from the left side of the floating windows to the right side, similarly to how the close button on Windows appears on the right side of the window, versus how the close button on Mac OS X appears on the left side of the window, as shown in the screenshots above.

Depending on whether you're right-handed or left-handed, the position of this close button could make all the difference in the world for comfort. On the other hand, for most people the iPhone's display is so small that it doesn't take much to simply reach over with a finger or thumb, so the tweak might not be for everyone.

RightX has no options to configure and requires iOS 7 to be installed. If you want to download this tweak, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository.

Or you can swipe them closed. Much easier. I didn't even know there was a close button still. Never used it or noticed it until this tweak showed me it was there.
