Default 'Flat Notes' Makes the iOS 7 Notes App Look More Like an iOS 7 App

Open just about any one of Apple's applications in iOS 7... Settings, Clock, Contacts, Messages... note how they're all flat and white. Now, open the Notes application in iOS 7. It has a grainy paper texture; it just doesn't seem to match the persona of iOS 7 at all. Wouldn't you agree?

A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed Flat Notes by iOS developer Harlan Haskins removes the grainy paper texture from the Notes application so that the interface adopts the flat style of just about every other iOS 7 application, as shown above.

This small aesthetic change to the Notes application's user interface makes it feel more native to the operating system. While the tweak does change the style of the note backgrounds, it doesn't change the style of the buttons, such as the Notes and Done buttons.

To add this tweak to your device, you can head over to the BigBoss repository in Cydia. The tweak doesn't have any options to configure just install and go.

Note: The developer notes a problem in the current version of the tweak that may cause the letterpress effect not to go away when editing an existing note. A future version will fix this.
