Default Ryan Petrich Teases Upcoming FlipControlCenter Tweak, Display Recorder for iOS 7

On Tuesday, well-known iOS hacker and developer Ryan Petrich teased an upcoming jailbreak tweak for iOS 7 that he calls FlipControlCenter. In addition, he recorded a preview of the tweak with what appears to be an iOS 7-compaptible version of Display Recorder, Petrich’s well-known software for capturing screen movements in video.

You can view Petrich's teaser video below:

    http://www.mobypicture.com/user/rpetrich/view/16378202

You can tell right off the bat that Display Recorder has been given a refreshed interface to look how it should look on iOS 7, with the white interface styling and flatter user interface elements.

But more importantly, the focus of the video appears to be on FlipControlCenter, which is a new jailbreak tweak (unreleased at this point in time), which will allow the user to configure the order of toggles and shortcuts in Control Center. The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where the user can drag the toggles and shortcuts up or down in a list to configure the order.

Not only does it allow users to configure the order, but it adds additional toggles and shortcuts that aren't usually there without the tweak. For example, the shortcut to the Settings application, the shortcut for respringing the device, the toggle for auto-lock, and the toggle for location services are not found in the Control Center of a stock iOS 7 device.

We look forward to seeing the release of both FlipControlCenter and Display Recorder for iOS 7, and we will be sure to keep everyone updated on the release.

When is MMi going to update their app? At least update it so it's not using the iOS 6 keyboard anymore. As far as the jailbreak, it's nice that devs are working hard and fast. It's like we been given a car but can only look at it but not drive it with this jailbreak being released.

Way sooner than when whiners send some thanks and donations?

Can we begin a new thread solely for analogies of what "it's like..." having Cydia without MobileSubstrate?

We get it! And we're all in the same boat. Relax.

Looking forward to this tweak, btw. Nice job, Ryan.

Ryan Petrich blocked me on twitter. I don't even know why, I didn't do anything wrong, check my tweets, you'll see I didn't do anything wrong, but I tried to follow him and twitter says I can't because I've been blocked. So until he "fixes" this, I won't be supporting him or buying his tweaks anymore. I have already bought some, such as VideoPane, and others, I don't exactly remember, but I know it's a few and so I'm just sorta pissed cause I did nothing wrong.

Hopefully never, I like it the way it is. But if they do, I hope they take forever, so that whiners like you can just sorta "suffer" a bit. Quit crying about how every single thing needs to be updated and stuff, just stop, get a coffee or something, and relax and give the devs some time. Be patient. Because all you do by complaining is just make people nervous and frustrated.

Did you ask him too many questions? Lol

C'mon 64bit support I'm looking forward to this tweak, as well as a few others. Definitely thankful for root access none the less.

I like seeing that a Location Services toggle is being put in.
Definitely a welcome tweak when it gets released!

it might be possible, however he was like the only developer who would ever respond... but more than anything i would simply mention him in tweets, PROMOTING HIS TWEAKS TO HELP HIM OUT...
