On Thursday, the highly popular IMDb movie information application for iOS has been updated, bringing the current version of the application up to version 4.0.

As you can see from the screenshots above, the application has been given a facelift for iOS 7, which includes the taller navigation bar, the flatter user interface buttons and elements, use of the new styled keyboard, and transparency in layers. The new interface offers an overall new appearance and feel for users.

In addition, the application has been given an improved navigation design and improved homepages, which include a drop down menu for getting to information easier. With a new Name Lists feature, you can keep track of your favorite people, and new sorts and filters will help you keep track of your favorite movies.

Other miscellaneous new features and improvements have also been added to give users of the application a better overall user experience. Existing users of the IMDb application for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application.
