On Wednesday, the highly popular Steam Mobile application for iOS from Valve was updated with a number of improvements, bringing the application up to version 1.3.

With the update, Steam Mobile has been given a facelift that includes many of the flatter interface elements that we would expect for iOS 7. In addition to the application's redesigned user interface, the application has also been given multiple new features and improvements.

Some of the new features in the update include the offline chat feature, the ability to show friends’ nicknames, and iconography so you can tell when your friends are on a mobile device or using Big Picture. The application will also now include Facebook-suggested friends in your invites list, and make it easier for you to respond to invites.

Steam Mobile has also been given improvements to its notification system and icon badging, so that the application will display them properly. Invites have been moved to a separate screen to reduce clutter, and Valve has added in multiple improvements to the application’s stability and performance with a number of bug fixes.

Existing users of Valve's Steam Mobile application for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download Steam Mobile for free from the App Store via this App Store link.
