Logged in to say the exact same thing. It's a horrible business decision because it leaves the consumer the option to go to a different carrier (their contract is officially up).

I've downloaded at over 65mbps on AT&T with my iPhone 5.

What phone are you using? You know that's an important bit of info, right?

Ignoring slow-*** CDMA tech on Verizon/Sprint:

    4 - HSDPA - 3G - I've personally measured > 3 Mbps on AT&T.

    4S - HSPA+ "4G" - 14 Mbps

    5 - LTE 4G - 150 Mbps (theoretical) - I've personally measured 67.xx Mbps on AT&T.
