Well I will like to see where this ends up!

I am retired not but when I was working, largest Railroad in US, we had company cellphones.

To start with was the old anique type.

When the company upgrade, many times, we were brought into the age where the phone company could tell your location.

This worried a lot of us as sometimes we were not where we were suppose to be.

I did some checking and talked to some police friends and telephone friends.

I don't know if anything has changed or not but I was told that the only way the company could check and see where any employee was if the company had a Federal Search Warrant, and Federal Judges would half to have a good reason to issue a warrant. Federal govern us because we were Federally Regulated. Don't know about others!

So in ending I don't think this will pan out, unless things have changed and sometimes they do, Feds like to appease large corprations!

The only way I think they can do this is with each of our agreement to let them, and my answer is h*** no, as its none of Apples business where I am!

This is just past experience and it may have changed and its JMO

Be glad if somebody can find out what they can do now!

    To quote Ben Franklin,

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

also you might look up "..and then came for me.."
    I don't drink kool-Aid, I don't join cults.
This is why I break out in cold sweat going to Apple retail store.

This is a breach of human rights(a.k.a freedom) and should be fought by all who don't want this big brother/ nanny state

This is very intrusive and uncalled for. It doesn't bother me too much though because I don't plan on breaking into a restricted area and killing someone any time soon.

^no but somebody who has your location might want to kill you

^I know I've been hiding from my enemies for a while now. But seriously if someone really wanted to know where I am to kill me there are easier ways then asking apple.

    are you sure

I bob I'm an internet trader (smart psychopath)

bob; hello Appl£ I see you have a "person" I would like to sell something(a free ticket to the after life) to, can I have there location information

Appl£; why sure here you go

maybe a few more hoops to jump through but you get the picture

Yes this is really exaggerated but not impossible
