They're probably getting ready to kill off the 3G all together. OS4 Has a lot of features that don't function on it. It will only get worse. The price drop of the 3GS also supports this.

Oh no They can't do this!! It's the only good iPhone that supports Android.... Grr.

If you get the 3GS, then yes, you'll be able to use your old one, but if you get the 4G, then you'll probably get a new sim card because of the microSIM on the 4G.

Well that sucks...called me uninformed but I didn't know the HD used a micro SIM, so I was under the impression I could just swap my SIM from one to the other like exactly am I supposed to convince T-Mobile to switch me to a micro SIM card? It's not like they know I have an iphone lol. I told them I'm using an LG cliq

    Any suggestions?

3G resale value was strong at $350 for a loooong time. Honestly, I am glad to have it as I can learn a newer phone than my 2G.

Once I get the new iPhone I plan on keeping my old iPhone 3g, illhave my iPhone 4HD in one pocket, and my neutered iphone 3g in the other! I can still use the 3g as more of a iPod touch: use it for music, games, etc....saving battery life on my iPhone 4HD!!

I would sell it, but over time I dropped it a few times and it now has some VERY UGLY cracks on the screen. Still functions perfect, but I really doubt anyone would wanna buy it, sucks. Would apple store give me a 3g replacement for a broken screen??

I will get the 4g when it comes out, but keep my 3G 8GB for sentimental value as it was my very first Iphone *tear*

It will also be a good backup just in case..

I thought this was completely expected... I expected it at least.
