Default need for help in SDK on Hacintoush for iPhone 3G
    hi,

    How are you today!

I'm a newer developer and now, i have a plan to write apps for iPhone by Xcode. But i dont hav any MAC computer, so i built on Hacintoush run on intel x86.
    And here is my question:
    1. How i could build and run apps on iphone without sign-code cert?
    2. Have linux source code same as arm platform for iphone?
    3. Could i success in build apps and run on Hacintoush?

    thank for your reply

as long as you built your hackintosh with an x86 it will be fine

plus you already have leopard running dont you? thats all you need to use xcode

im not sure i understand your question about the source code. but im assuming you know that whatever language you choose to write in xcode will compile for the arm processor... that is why we have the iphone sim so we can test on an emulator before we put it onto an actual device for testing

    Thanks him121213,

Now, i decided to buy a MAC book with a sign code cert($99) from apple.
i think it's the best way to build apps for iPhone (for a newer programming).

About source code, i mean the linux source code to build image and rootfs run on iPhone, for example, cross compiler, linux-arm-gcc, toolchain ...? by browsing on net i know a team has completed in porting linux for arm-iphone

you could build a toolchain and compile the apps on your iphone.
it's free. but the only downside is that it's not the official SDK.
but you can build pretty cool apps with it as long as you know what you're doing.
so i'd recommend iPhone Open Application Development | O'Reilly Media

having the toolchain completely on the iPhone works for me (storing the files there, compiling, building, etc).
it does take patients though. but, with enough Googling, and referencing.. you should be able to do it without buying a Mac. Unless of course you want to sell it on the AppStore...
