Point I was making was you sounded like you were blaming sju for having a tweak causing his double click respring, when in reality, it's that he's simply running too many high animation tweaks. I restored 3 times and turned off almost all animations and the double click respring still rears its ugly head now and again.
Was jes' messin, Padg! I knew your intent. But it seemed you just reworded my exact explanation. But redundancies can be helpful. Someone might not understand it the way I worded it… but perfectly understand your explanation. So all is good. 😄👊

...would you share that beauty, and will it work on an i6?

The 6+ is indeed using more RAM with the unique 8.1 loaded onto it which is a different firmware than goes on the 6 and the 5S.

The proof that the 6+ is using more RAM, even with no tweaks loaded.. Is that a 6 owner or 5S owner can run way more animation before a respring occurs.

I have UniAW7 running with full animation on both LS and SB on my 6 - and with 4 other iWidgets and I haven't had a single respring for 3 days. I also run about 15 tweaks including Springtomize3. So 8.1 on my iPhone 6 clearly has less of a RAM leak or runs leaner because of smaller screen and lesser features.

At this point in time we don't really have any proof as to whether the 6+'s issues are more because of its greater feature set running the ram lower or whether somehow the ram leak in 8.1 is more susceptible to a full drain (causing respring) in a 6+. It's one reason or the other. Logically. 😉

    Hi NewD,

can you please post a list with your installed tweaks? I have an i6 (non plus), too. But I have these "Slide to respring" bug when I sometimes try to unlock my iphone 6. I have installed:

    Code:
    -activator
    -alkaline
    -bioLockDown
    -sbhtml
    -groovylock
    -HSD
    -iconomatic
    -lockglyph
    -multiiconmover+
    -pkgbackup
    -quickactivator
    -quickmusic2
    -springtomize3
    -swipeexpandersetback
    -swipeselection
    -winterboard
    -zeppelin
    -icleanerPro
    -iFile
    -CenterStage
    -flipswitch
    -setback
    -BytaFont2
    -MyLocation
    -iconbundles
    -classicbadges
    -iwidgets
    -openssh
    -eclipse

Because of the resprings: I also begin to think it's a RAM issue for whatever reason. My 6+ needs 88-94 % RAM, even if I don't use widgets and lock screens.
Thats too much for any kind of computer. With UniAW I need around 2-3 % more (= 90-95 % usage)

When I double tap to open the app-switcher the RAM goes up to 98 %. When I now scroll very fast through the apps my iPhone crashes.
You can test your RAM on a 6plus with this app from App Store: iMonitor

    CORE 1.0 with UniAW:

Thanks for the tip with iMonitor, my i6 (non plus) needs 91% ram (80mb free), and I disabled all of my tweaks before, that is so crazy

Yawn!! Another 2 pages about random resprings. It's like what I said a hundred pages ago, it's not UniAW, it's not your phone, it's IOS8, and now it's been discovered that it's bad memory leak in webKit, so it explains everything, whats the point in going on & on with tests etc trying to find a bad tweak?

You guys on IOS8 will just have to wait till next jailbreak before your issues are fixed, end of story.

I'm all for people discussing problems with other tweaks/widgets here, and try to help as much as I can but...

If you want to continue waisting your time looking for something you already know the answer to, please open your own thread.

    @ Max,
    Love the LS mod pal.

    @ Splatty 79,

Pal, don't know about you but I've always had issues with breaking guitar strings, usually at the bridge because of sweaty hands. I always clean my strings after gig and it helps but not by much, I even add WD40 to the cloth before wiping my strings.
Anyway, my issue is even worse here because of the sea air and high temperatures/humidity I have tried lots of different strings from inexpensive ones to the most expensive ones but at last I found ones that actually do work!

Usually I change my strings (full set) every week, but with these it's every month, just thought I would share this with you because so many other strings claim they last longer but don't. These strings actually do work, they don't rust, I'm quite amazed with them.
Oh, and this was the best deal I could find (this will last me a year ):

    Hi Nik,

Sorry I didn't see your original post, Iv'e been just skipping over the last few pages due to all the respring posts.

I think this is not a bug, when I first saw "Showers" as my weather I felt it was too much, it was set the same as "scattered_thunderstorms", so in the animations.js file I removed the "Wires" from the showers condition, I just made it zero (40, 8, 0). You can easily add it back if you like, there are two places to set this in the same file, one for iph5 & one for iph4. See screenshot below. Maybe try a setting of about 20 for iph5 and 15 for iph4. (40, 8, 20).

    You can test anytime:

Set "DemoMode" to true and "WeatherTest" to "showers", or, if you want to also see all things on screen like usual:

Place a copy of your .xml file (from "var/mobile/Documents" folder) into the UniAW7.theme directory, then in the config file set "var XML_TEST = true;" This now means the widget will look for .xml file in the themes directory instead on your Documents folder.

To change the condition, 1st look at the list in the main.js file (WEATHER CONDITIONS see screen shot):
You can see here that "Showers" condition is either number 9 or 12.
So now open the "widget weather.xml" file in the themes directory (not the one in your Documents folder) and change the code to either 9 or 12. (2nd screen shot).

Remember to set "var XML_TEST = true;" back to false when your done testing.

Nice mate. I use the light gauge elixirs for my acoustic exclusively after having the same issues as u!

When I was playing in the Greek Islands I would break so many strings, mainly because I was using martins and other brands. Since switching I never break.

For electric I tune down to c (!) so I use earnie ball "not so slinky" which are so thick I don't think it's physically possible for them to break haha!

Here is a little sample of my original music if u would like to hear

Can you be a little more specific, when you say move everything do you mean the weather animations (sun & moon included) or just all the info plus clock?

Hmm I guess all the info and clock mainly. Just find the city is a bit close to the status bar?

Please give me a few minutes, I make video tutorial of a easy way but need to make new div.

    EDIT:

Ok bud, so if you do this you won't need to mess with adjusting all things separately down a little, but I think you only want to go down a few pixels or the forecast when touched will interfere with the row of icons under the widget.

Here is a link to the video I just did for ya, basically it adds a div called "position" that you can use to move all things including touch area's but not background wallpapers or animations.

I got lots of time now.

Love the track BTW, not really my style of music, it's a scary song LOL, but appreciate the talent very much, especially like the little riff at 5:22 minutes, and love the snare sound & excellent drumming too.
