Edit: I wouldn't be able to load it on any of the dinosaur devices I use but did load it on a Mac. I removed all the locations except GulfCoast with no slow startup. I pasted back the other locations, refreshed with about a 7 second startup. Console shows it is loading all locations into memory. It appears that it's not honoring the single selection of one RadarRegion. Console also noted some small errors in animation & style css and html is trying to load a non existent location.js. Not that it matters on an iPhone but the hourly forecast right side is not hidden. The nearest container to hide it with overflow-x would be WeatherContainer.

2nd Edit: Sorry, I went back a few replies and noticed that you are aware that it is loading all locations. You are probably going to have to create a function to return the user selected single RadarRegion.
I actually haven't looked at his live call to the place he's getting the radar yet. That indeed would be the cause of the lag if it's loading them all. The current switch we wrote is only to choose which one to display in the widget. Not which one it loads from the API. I should be able to figure that out pretty easily when I get back into it. Just a little busy with work right now.

Ok guys, I think I nailed it this time
I changed all the radar locations to just one radar div. In the radar.js, I have it calling the img src and set the css attributes according to what region is selected, so it's only loading one map. It seems to be working like normal now!!
I also added in radar options to the Options.plist, so you can now use it with LockHTML. Forgot to add it before!
Let me know what you guys think.
I also want to thank everyone for your input, suggestions and advice!!
If you want a location added, just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Works perfectly, Menard. Opens in under a second now. This is the finest lock screen widget I've pretty much ever had on my phone in terms of beauty of layout and functionality of information access. A superior job, my friend! Thanks for letting me participate in some of the coding. This will be on my Lockscreen for some time yet to come!

If you wanted to take it to one more level of awesomeness you might add several different colors or textured wall plates where your gray metallic look is right now. Chooseable then from the config.JS. People have different color palettes they like. I'm thinking that maybe that would be another level in terms of the artwork itself.

Status bar outline is built into his background layer - in his image. It can't be turned off. A different background layer would have to be created without it for you.

Thanks, NewD!! I know you've had quite a few LS widgets, so that means a lot I'm happy with the way it turned out too!
Anybody can add their own background to AnemoneHTML/Images/Layer folder and change it in LockBackground.html look for
    background div - LayerBack - src="AnemoneHTML/Images/Layer/Layer.png"
Just change 'Layer.png' to whatever your img name is.
Or you can change 'Layer.png' to 'blank.png' and it'll use your lock screen bg chosen from settings/wallpaper. Id be happy to add some color palettes though, if y'all want!
When this job is over with, I'm going to look into adding a user interface radar. The user can enter their location and it'll show the local radar. I just need to find a site that can pull up most major countries/cities. It'll be a major task, but I'm up for a good challenge

Hey mate awesome work on getting this to this stage and looking forward to seeing if you can get what you want done with the radar for all locations working.

Just one quick question. The radar image for Terry Hills has changed to more of the whole state of NSW plus the capital region IE Canberra. Is the img src being pulled from a different location/src now as to the previous radar img in the last mod?

Would defiantly be good if we could have a closer radar img of the area/current location to view. I know that I use the closer radar images specially useful before going out and while I'm out on my motorbike as well as for work reasons while setting up out door cinemas for example.

Thanks for you time and effort into providing this for others to use and enjoy.

I don't remember changing anything, but I'll have a look at it.

Give this a try. I zoomed it in as far as it would go. If you want it closer, I can stretch the img, but the quality might degrade a little.

    Menard,
Your mastery of the 1/3rd sizes animation window is 2nd to none, bro. MamaJaay did the first revs of that a couple years back - but many things like balloon path and size weren't addressed. In your mods I see a lot of attention paid to proper proportioning of all elements - moon, sun, clouds, balloon height off ground.. etc..

So here's the thing. As I've transferred your Animations.css and animations.js files from your radar widget into other widgets that don't have the proper proportions in that top window… it works to a large degree - except - all the balloons are stretched skinny. That means you must've also made a couple of adjustments in the main.JS in addition to the changes you made in the other 2 docs. Can you tell me some of the changes you made in the main.JS? Or am I coming at this from the wrong angle?

Thanks! It took a while to go through everything
Looks like I adjusted the ballon height in Style.css instead of Animations.css. I corrected it and tried on your last mod. Should be good now
In the Animation.css I changed balloonContainer > div > img height from 80 to 40, to match the width. You can D/L the new file below or just make the changes for each ballon size.

Okay.. so just to be clear.. my idea here is to make the proportions, container heights, balloon paths, etc IN OTHER 1/3rd size WIDGETS as correct as yours. So - are you saying (assuming the other modders have just started with the same files you did) that all I need to do is import your new Animations.css file there and then no need to make the balloon adjustment to style.css (of the widget I'm "correcting") ? So you didn't make any adjustments to animations.js? Or do I need to import that file of yours as well?
