    Have you tried running it in GroovyBoard+? My U7 version will need one more line of code to make that work.
    NewD, I would like to run it in
    GroovyBoard+ but when I tried with the previous uniaw7.1 version, the weather was updating only after respring.
    Is Groovy+ compatible with my iOS 8.3 ?
    I'll be happy to try again. Can you write me that line of code and where to put it? Tya!

    Groovy+ ONLY works in iOS 8.x JB. Not in 7 or 9. No idea why U7 wouldn't update automatically. Ran perfectly on my iPhone 6 on 8.4. I'll send you the updated main.js.

    Try this Morkino...
    Change the name of your current main.js to main-orig.js.. then download this file..
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...-Groovy.js.zip
    ..and change its name to main.js.

    Make sure you've installed GroovyBoard+ and GroovyAPI+ from Cydia.

    Then turn off XenHTML obviously.

    See if it works..

    Thank you so much NewD but unfortunately still not updating weather.
    In SBHTLM all work perfectly but with GroovyBoard+ is stuck and not updating unless I respring....

    I have install GroovyBoard+ and API from the thread, in cydia I cannot find them...

    Hi bud,

    Try changing this line:
    Code:
    refreshTimer = setTimeout(updateWeather_XML, 30*1000);

    To this:
    Code:
    refreshTimer = setTimeout(updateWeather, 30*1000);

    Reason: the function "updateWeather_XML" does not exist, so not sure how it ever worked.
    I hope it updates now within 30 seconds.

    Hmm.. very strange. I no longer have a device on 8.4 so I can't test. But all U7-based widgets updated perfectly for me on my iPhone 6 when it was on 8.4.

    Do you have another widget you can test?.. (Not UniAW7.1_WW3 that I updated)? Use an older version of U7 that was modified for GroovyBoard+ and see if it updates. We know that weather updates perfectly now from WW3's end of things - after being fixed.

    And did the new main.js I sent you WORK to allow U7_WW3 to open up in GB+? It runs okay? - but just doesn't update weather? If OTHER U7-based widgets (not mine) update weather in GB+ and it's only mine that doesn't.. then that's a code problem on my end. Not a GB+ problem.

    Grant you are so kind to take care of this!
    Thank you again.
    First of all, I tell you that I solved.
    Now I have my modded widget working on GroovyBoard+ and no more respring!!
    Now to recapitulate:
    None of my widget were working in G+ nor even your original with the new main.js that you sent me. Actually they opened but no weather update, as you said.
    So I found a Uniaw7_RC10_GroovyLock.theme that was correctly running in G+ and after several hours of modding I did it!
    This widget is working because of these lines of code:

    function getWeatherData() {
    // Tell GL to pass the xml into updateWeather:
    if (XML_TEST == false) {
    groovyAPI.do("getWidgetWeather", "updateWeather");
    }
    else { $.getJSON("json.txt", function(data) { updateWeather(data); }); }
    }

    Maybe can be added to your widget too, I don't know.
    Anyway here a screenshot (same as before but safe from respring, yeah!)

    Well good! Dacal wrote RC10 as an interim step before the xml map data was done for WW2. So it's calling for live data or from the raw file. You may actually be bypassing the xml file completely with RC10.

    Long after RC10 was no longer in use we all used UniAW7.1 in 8.4 and GB+ with no problems and perfect updating weather data without a respring.

    So I'm glad you're working. But RC10 coding is very old - even for 8.4.. and is not necessary to achieve updating weather.

    But whatever works! Please don't use it as a base for other widgets that you distribute, Morkino. As it won't work for everyone.

    Yes it is quite complex, specially to mod it, but, as you say, it works, and in my case is the only one working in G+ that is mandatory to live without resprings...
    I will not use it for widget that I will share.
    NewD, is XenHtlm also for iOS 8.x or it works only with 9.x? Is it also respring free?
    Thanks!

    It does use WKWebView and therefore has no resprings.. But unfortunately it's only available for iOS9 and after.

    I thought that...
    I think I'll keep my IOS 8.3 untethered jb and my iPhone 6 for long time, specially now that I found the way to make GroovyBoard+ work with my mods.

    I've been taking some time here to update our translation.js - to include a few new items within my Mod of U7 (soon to be released) and the base U7_WW3 (released already). We already have a complete translation matrix (all weather terms, days of week/month, windspeed description and Cardinal Wind Direction letters) for English, Spanish, French, Italian, Norwegian, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, German, Turkish and Russian and Greek. If there are any other native speakers of other languages than those - that use UniAW7 and you'd like to add your language.. I'd need you to return these three tables to me filled out with your language's words in place of only the English words in QUOTES " "

    EDIT: Couple of questions, Morkino... Are there abbreviations for these in Italian?
    "mph"; //miglia all'ora
    "km/h"; //chilometri all'ora

    Where the 'mph' is... Would 'miglia all'ora be abbreviated to "mg/o"? And 'chilometria all'ora' = cm/o?

    Or does Italian use the same abbreviation as English? mph and km/h...
    Thanks..

    LOL!.. You know me, Ian. I'm a bit of geek about this stuff.. Sure.. would LOVE to have Scottish brogue if you want to write to write it up for us. Your call, bro.

    We should definitely have Portuguese. I'm gonna try that one myself with Googles and Microsoft's translators which are pretty amazing.. And I'm about 20% fluent myself.. So I can get close I think.

    mph and km/h are used in Italian.
    I sent you the the Italian translation because in the old one there were a lots of mistakes. Some of the terms (like "humeado" instead of "umido" ) are not Italian at all. Others are incorrect (like pioggerella instead of pioviggine).
    Nobody says "alto" e "basso" for hi and low temperatures... And so on. The wind descriptions were also mostly incorrect...
    I do every time all these corrections for my widgets...
