    Okay gang. You'll also need this new map.xml.

    Go to var/mobile/Library and scroll to bottom.. Open the folder called WidgetWeather.

    In there - rename the map.xml to map-orig.xml. And then add the file linked above.. And respring.. You're good to go on all things MultiAPI.. When WW3 gets back up and running again.. the newest installs of it will place this new map too. So you can just basically place this and forget about it.

    It's actually set to the RefreshTimer rate of the widget itself -20 seconds. The widget checks the xml every 20seconds for new updated data - which will then refresh the random weather wall choice.

    Not without changing how often the widget addresses the xml file for new data. While you're sitting at your office or sitting at home this could certainly be made a lot longer because you're not traveling around. The reason you wouldn't want to set it for longer than 20 seconds is for while you're traveling as you wouldn't see updates as often as you were moving. But it's possible that it's only geeks like me like that look at our phone sitting on the dashboard on a clip using it sort of like a turn by turn directions phone app. Lol!!

    So sure - just look for refresh timer = 20 * 1000.. In the updateWeather function near the end - And change that 20 to however many seconds you want. This will change how often the walls update.

    My first official large mod since I joined. I've learned loads from so many. List too long - you know who you are!

    I did my very best to follow Ian and Dacal's minimalistic code footprint. Most things are where you expect.. Just now, because of Anemone's folder design.. Most files you'd want to get into to mod are in the AnemoneHTML folder. Many thanks to MamaJaay for this folder design idea for working in all players!

    As timing would have it - we've been having trouble with WidgetWeather3 these last 72 hours. UNTIL it comes back up - I've written a special workaround.js file to make it call on live time (thanks, Rasputin007 for that code) and call from the raw files rather than the current broken widgetweather.xml. SO - you MUST go into WW3 Extras and click on RAW DATA switch and respring to generate those files before this will work.. 5 day forecast will still be stuck off for a moment and a few other pieces of data. But the majority of data will be updating now -- YOU MUST LEAVE THE WEATHERAPI choice in CONFIG.JS set to "default" for now. The multiAPI's you can check out - but they'll be giving you old data from the broken xml. And if you haven't gotten your own Free API keys for WeatherUnderground and FORECAST.IO (DARK SKY) then you won't see data for those if you set the WeatherAPI switch to "fio" or "wu".

    So here's the new base we're hoping Modders will use as their start.. I have the NEWD mod one coming soon too that you've seen on my Springboard for a while.. For now this will get you up and running..

    Don't all grab at once or you'll close my DropBox account for too much traffic. Some of you wait til later tonight, please.

    IMPORTANT: In the new workaround.js - you can set Celsius to true or false.. Also you can set AMPM to true or false based on your needs.. All, again, temporary. Leave XMLDown to TRUE until WW3 is fixed.

    What do you mean? No one has an xml file yet. What are you trying to communicate?

    The updated UniAW7 widget I created doesn't need an xml file to operate.. well it needs an older unupdated one.. .. if you have no widgetweather.xml file at all - you'll need to put an old one in the Documents folder at least for my U7 to work

    Nothing changed with what? My new UniAW7.1_WW3 update? Do you have it set to "default" in config.js? The only thing the new map.XML does is give the options for running weather underground, forecast.io, AccuWeather or Yahoo. If you don't have it set to any of those 4 then you wouldn't see any change after you resprang.
