    To the experts, I want to say sorry in advance for us non experts not knowing or catching what you're saying the first time and asking question. Sorry for asking how to do something and sorry for asking questions to further clarify. Find it safe to say, you were us at one time. We don't know as much as you do and you've probably forgotten more than we'll ever know. We are simply trying to learn. Thanks.

    Yeah man, but I think the ones that outnumber the ones that do. "A hey just do this, then that" sounds a bit different to folks who've never done it. And when questions get asked, folks get agitated. Like I said, just trying to learn. The more we learn, less questions we ask

    Chevy,

    Thank you for a beauty. Seriously!

    I have one small issue:

    The sunrise and sunset times are displaying in an odd fashion.
    In iFile it displays correctly but on the actual lockscreen it is different.
    Today the sun rise and set times:
    Rise time is 06:38 but displays 60:38
    Set time is 20:41 but displays 200:41.

    I'm not sure where to find the issue to correct it.

    Any ideas?

    No. But you can do it yourself with iFile. Super simple. Read the instructions linked in my signature.

    Did you use the search function in iFile? The jQuery.get line is in the "updateWeather ()" function of the main.js. If the widget is built for WW. If there's truly no jQuery.get line in the main.js then it won't work in GL+ ever. So look again. And if it's not there - then the widget won't convert.

    Or possibly it's already converted - Can you find the line groovyAPI.do ?

  18. #10872
    I can find : function updateWeather() {
    jQuery.get('file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/widgetweather.xml', function(data) {
    //jQuery.get('widgetweather.xml',function(data) {
    obj.updatetimestring = $(data).find('updatetimestring').text();
    how to convert ? Or this ls can't use with GL+?

  19. #10873
    There was no //jQuery.get(url, function(data) { inside it

    Sometimes the older widgets won't have the URL... But they'll have the 'file:///private/var/mobile/Documents.... part instead..... Just follow the instructions still.. put a // in front of that first jQuery.get so it looks like this:

    Code:
    //jQuery.get('file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/widgetweather.xml', function(data) {
    Then after this line:
    Code:
     //jQuery.get('widgetweather.xml',f unction(data) {
    Add this line of code:
    Code:
    groovyAPI.do ( { read: "widgetweather.xml" }, function(data) {
    That's all there is to it.

    Are you using more than one xml file for separate locations? If not, you don't need the + xmlnumber + in there. Look at the example that NewD posted above.

    Do you have widgetweather 2 or 3 installed on your phone? And is there a widgetweather.xml file in var/mobile/Documents?
