Totally agree. "A little birdie told me" King's thinking of a really cool update in WW3 where it will have access to multiple weather APIs printing to the XML.

So - hopefully King & Team can do something amazing for us again. Hey.. We can dream! ..

WeatherUnderground has them. Rasputin007 mentioned them.

    Hi @ all,

Can please anyone help me out and tell me how can I make an iWidget a lil bit bigger, i mean in the height. When I put my phone in jiggle mode, that lil cross in the upper left, is a lil bit higher so that the whole iWidget is a lil bit bigger.

    Thanks in advance

Have not used it much, don't live by the sea.
    WeatherUnderground does that.
    Code:
    JSON response
    http://api.wunderground.com/api/YOUR_API_KEY/tide/q/NY/NewYork.json
    or
    http://api.wunderground.com/api/YOUR_API_KEY/rawtide/q/NY/NewYork.json
    XML response
    http://api.wunderground.com/api/YOUR_API_KEY/tide/q/NY/NewYork.xml
    or
    http://api.wunderground.com/api/YOUR_API_KEY/rawtide/q/NY/NewYork.xml
Works with US cities, but have not found out how to do it outside US.
Parameters TIDE gives nice info about high/low tide.
RAWTIDE gives a timeline (epoch time) for tide with sea level going up and down.
Link to json response files for people without WeatherUnderground API key that want to see what info they can get.
    NY-tide.json
    NY-rawtide.json

    Hi @ all,

I wanna mod dubais last g4 iwidget, but I cant get it to work. The only things I wanna do is to repostion some containers, iE. the Forecast a lil bit lower, and the city and the clock etc. a lil bit higher. I made some changes in the widget.plist (i increase the height) and make the whole widget a lil bigger, than I lowered the frame.png a lil bit, and wanna put the forecast a lil lower. But that thing doesnt work, when I change the forecast container and increase the #top a lil bit the forecast is cutted out, and when I increase the #top value more the forecast is completely gone :/ Dont know what I do wrong, but I have 2 screenshots, the left one is the default iWidget, and the right one has some changes.

You made the widget bigger (taller) but you didn't make the mask image bigger! Either make a new mask image or try increasing the height ( and maybe you will need to add to the "top" setting) setting in css for #mask.
Remember, everything outside the mask image will be hidden.

If your widget does not use any slide-in/out effects then you can delete all the mask stuff (html & css & image file).

    Good Day Ian Sir!!!

Hope you are doing good and are well in Muscat.

Would you be kind to assist me with an iWidget I am working on.

    Widget Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5dzmc3m4gp...%20S7.zip?dl=0

    SS:

    1) I want to add Fade-in and Fade-out in the Date, same as in Current Day Icon. I am still learning the transition effect and don't know much about it. Kindly assist to give this transition to it.

    2) Can the Date be Changed in this Format Tuesday, 9th February instead currently TUE, FEB.9.

Hope this is not too much .
Appreciate your help in what you are doing. Thanking you in Advance.

    Regards,
    dubs

    @ dub alive,

I had a very quick look, just to be clear, the current day icon isn't a fade in/out, it's a scale transition, i.e it scales in from zero scale to 100%, is this what you want on the date? Or do you want it to fade in/out?

I also think it's best to do away with the "ClockiWidget.html" file, is this ok with you?

Yes we can remove the ClockiWidget.html, as long it doesnt harm the Clock Digits

    Please try this:

    2 things:

With the chozen font, the number is smaller than the other text.
I cannot shrink the suffix ("th" etc).

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/41la3v8zf6...Fixed.zip?dl=0

    EDIT:
In css #date, please change width to 100% and left to 0%.

Also, just FYI, it's not good to comment out stuff in css with "//", instead you should use this at the start of the unwanted code "/*" and this at the end of it "*/", or just delete it.
Javascript is "//" or for large chunks the same as the one above for css.
HTML commenting-out is "<!--" at start & "-->" at end.

    EDIT AGAIN:

Who chases rabbits these days, (or ever!)? Is this the new "thing" LOL..

Thanks a Million!!! Really appreciate your assistance. Wish I have been here Long Time ago, my basics in coding would have been much better now. This thread I am Learning a lot and thanks to great coders here.
Have done all changes in css on commenting out and width of date.
With your permission, have removed "th" and "OF" from date. I am fine with the Number of Date being smaller

Nice Sense of Humour you have !!!! FTWR................
