    @Marty

You need the width to allow the vw method to work correctly. But the height will hide the icons. Can you go like 320 wide by 50 high?

    Or am I completely misunderstanding?

    Check out WW3 for iOS 9/10 - Widget-Weather 3.0

What you've described, King, is my understanding too having worked on a vertical rectangle widgets recently.

You need the width defined in the widget for vw to work, yes - absolutely. Altering the widget.plist values can cause things to get cut off, yes. Can effect the 'tap to wiggle' area, yes. But I've NEVER seen a widget.plist effect CSS elements directly (ie: shrinking them)!?

So yes, changing the height to 50 is ok. If the widget is right next to the icon, I can access the very bottom of it. I tried "0" for height....phone didn't like that lol! Same thing with "10". I have it at "20" now and it seems to work ok. Manipulating the widget in 'jiggle mode' is a little tough @ 20 but the functionality is there. Thanks King!

    Hi Marty,

1st of all, thanks for your help. I d/l the 2nd version, and changed the height to "50", and I can access all my icons right or left to the widget, and my thought about the cityname, could it be cause I didnt use the updated Version on WW2?

    EDIT:

But when I set the width down to 100 from 320, all my infos are shrinked in the iWidget.

    EDIT2:

...and I think the iWidget is originaly made for i6+, dunno maybe that can help a lil

Thanks bro. Link updated. Widget.plist height is set at 30. 'Cityname' font size is now vw. I don't think you were seeing city before because config.js was set to 'neighborhood'. No neighborhood value where you are I'm guessing? Now that setting is accessible in options.plist Hopefully all is perfect this time. Let me know....

So depending on what size you select when adding widget to SB, you may need to change width value in Widget.plist.

EDIT: Changed link to Dropbox. I am REALLY starting to hate Mediafire lately!!!!!!!

Ah yes, if you're not running the updated WW2 yet, then no, city will not show up as I did not add the Google or 'new' Yahoo code. Should be available in Cydia anytime now!!

For touch area, try this. In CSS file, near the top, you'll see #touchlayer (or something similar). Change height and width of that to 100%. Does that fix it?

They should add an 8th 'Wonder of the World'. The 'Widget.plist file'. I swear I will never understand it. I get such inconsistent results.

    Hi Marty,

I can help you understand why pal.

At last, somebody notices this, I see too many screenshots of UniAW7.1 on iPhone6+ where the text is all too small, this is because many 6 & 6+ owners do not change re-name the correct widget.plist included in the theme, and they obviously don't read the "123_iWidget_Users_ReadMe_1st" file also in the theme.

Only the width in the widget.plist will effect the text size.. Why? Because the widget.plist defines the viewports width & height, and our text sizes set in "vw" means "percentage of viewports width". , on weird long thin widgets it might be better to set the text size using "vh", yes, you guessed it, "percentage of viewports height".

    Now you know why.

So people with 6 & 6+, if you think your text is too small it's because you didn't re-name the correct widget.plist file for your device, you lazy buggers you.

Here is an example, my iph5 with the default widget.plist (which is for iph5), and below a 6+ that I believe is still using the default (iph5) plist.

NOTE, I resized both images to the same 500px wide so you can see a clear comparison.

ANOTHER NOTE: This issue will only happen with iWidgets cause LS and SB don't use a plist file to define the height & width, instead it will use the body size defined in out main.js file.

Hope it is all clear now pal.

Switch off "Additional Locations" in WW2 settings page, then re-spring", it should be gone, but if not, look in the css file for #next, add the line display: none; to its settings.
