oh ,i thought so...so that is why i don't have that problem i don't use that kind of widgets,i always use WW widgets, many

Yep. You're all good as long as you stick with WW1/2 bases or UniAW set to widgetweather.

It's the old yahoo locale only and all the Mone, Schnedi, Dubailive (Max Patrese script) and myLocation.txt widgets that are screwed.

whatever, those with yahoo or mylocation i stopped to use when WW1 first dropped in and when i saw its accuracy i never went back,i hated putting in locale in every widget

okay for some reason older widgets don't read city name correct,so you can go in config.js and set
var useExtraLocationCity = false; to true. and than in style.css
find #extraLocCity and replace all values from #city and under #city add a line
    ''display:none;'' without quotes

I believe the issue with Yahoo feed randomly returning old data was fixed this morning.

Now if only Yahoo was accurate. For me, it's saying it's 35 degrees here while The Weather Channel says 25 and my outdoor thermometer reads 26. I find this strange since on Yahoo's weather page it says "Data from The Weather Channel".

Ian - How's that WW2 base widget coming?

Well.. what dya know... Looks like my Yahoo widgets are reading proper forecast again. That's a step in right direction.. Not sure about accuracy though.. Says 32F but 93% humidity.. in my Yahoo widget.. Don't think those two states are compatible..

Sorry, I kinda lost interest in it, I have a working one but no touch, no analog clock, sun & moon js files are gone, it's basically only for very simple widgets (digital clock, date, a choice of 8 or 9 data's to show). I didn't get around to making the weather walls smaller, the walls are only 1 now instead of 5 (one for each day condition & one for each night condition), for simple widgets I feel it's enough.
I can post it tomorrow if you want it?

I also re-did my UniAW7.1 without gps or locale, it just gets rid of a load of code in the main.js file & does away with the location.js file. I also added the "DoubleTap" option and the option to choose a different iconSet (separate) for forecast & currentConditionIcon. I'm still messing with it but you are welcome to what I have so far.

Truth is I'm going home end of next week & will be away from coding for a couple of months, currently my mind is on other things.

I will just post the two things tomorrow pal, you can grab them. I really prefer the double tap & different icons for forecast & today's icon.

EDIT.. Oh, tomorrow is only Thursday, I thought it was Friday! I will post them on Friday (my rest day). For those who don't know, in the Middle East, Friday is like a Sunday everywhere else, all people off on Friday's. Weird!

    EDIT AGAIN..
OMG, I don't know what's wrong with me, the simple widget HAS a touch function, just for forecast.

I tried to get everyone to dump yahoo about 1.5-2 years ago. But some just loved that old code too much. I hate to say I told you so, but well, you know.

Once a JB drops for 9.1/2 I will be looking at possibly doing a WW3 version. But at the very least, I will have an update that includes a non-animated iWidget base. I might do an animated base as a separate DL.

Enjoy your time off Ian and you always know how to reach me. I hope to see you pop in from time to time, but if not, the best to you and your family.

    Check out WW3 for iOS 9/10 - Widget-Weather 3.0

I had dumped the Yahoo code until I started playing around with non-UniAW iWidgets on iOS 9. I'm looking forward to dumping it again.

Nice to see you back in here Whats is that "double tap" feature?
One question, when I set superlitemode to true I have running weatheranimations, is that normal? I thought when superlitemode is true, the animations are disabled, and I have only the weatherwalls without animations. Is it possible to have only the sun/moon and the WeatherWalls, but without animations? I tried with disabling all my animations in the config.js, but yesterday we have snow in our town, and I have snow on my SB I disabled all my Rain options in the config.js but that didnt help, there are still snow on my SB.

if further help needed just let me know

i don't have this issue with my widgets o.O
    Hi me37h,

1st of all, thanks for making the iWidget without the Ram & Battery Stats But can you do me a lil favour, and please can you make a seperate Ram & Battery Stats iWdiget? I tried the var ShowCurrentConditionIcon=true; way, and now I have the WeatherIcon all the time (when the animations are running and when they dont run). But the problem was, when the widget starts, I have animations and the WeatherIcon running together, and I have to touch the temp in the left corner, to stop the animations, and I have to touch the Temp again, to get rid of the WeatherIcon with weather animations. Is it possible to start the widget with animations, but without the WeatherIcon? Normally the WeatherIcon is only there, when the animations are disabled, or am I wrong?

sorry i misunderstood you,so set back var ShowCurrentConditionIcon to false go into style.css and find #Day0icon and add a line display:none; so i think now that is it,cheers

"doubleTap" option will just change the touch function, if enabled in the Config file you will need to tap the touch area's twice instead of once for all touch functions.

If you don't want animations on start-up, just set this option in Config.js:
    var noAnimationsOnStartup = true;
This will disable all animations when the widget starts, to see the animations you just tap the bottom half of the clock.

Thanks alot Ian, but when I set var noAnimationsOnStartup = true; I have no Sun/Moon it would be nice to have an option, to disable the weatherAnimations, but keep the Sun/Moon moving during the day with WeatherWalls That "double tap" feature sounds great imo
