I usually also have infinite tweet and a LS player of some sort. It's usually LockHTML or Convergence, but I've traditionally had less resprings this way... I can deal with a couple a week, as that's no big deal, but if I was forced to deal with them multiple times a day, it would be really annoying. I'm curious if these options I've supplied with decrease them for the majority of users, or if it's just me. I would be very interested if some of you could try this and report back your findings.
    Reporting back...

It's been a few days since I switched from a 4-digit passcode to an alphanumeric one and set my LS dim delay back to the default. Since then I've been running LockHTML4 on the LS the entire time and GB+ on my SB for most of that time. I have not noticed any resprings (knock on wood!), so my anecdotal experience is that there is an improvement. Prior to the passcode and dim delay changes I was noticing 1-3 resprings a day.

Yeah. That explains your stability. I can get no resprings for days running GL/SBHTML - not even the plus versions..

Yeah on a 5 I didn't hear of any resprings even in 8.1.2.

I couldn't with the non-plus versions, but I know you don't use a passcode. The missing piece for me seems to be the alphanumeric passcode (and possibly the dim delay).

Yes.. As I mentioned the other day, after MamaJaay first mentioned it, the alphanumeric passcode could be a smoking gun here.. I don't think dim is in the equation - but the cost would be too high for me. What good is a LS widget if it disappears in 7 seconds..

I don't need more than that - I'm just either giving the time or weather a quick check. I had only extended the dim delay for when I was testing new lockscreens I was making. I'll pose the opposite question (in earnest): what would I being doing on the LS that requires more than 7 seconds, other than admiring it?
