I wasn't promoting anything. Just providing a solution for the question in regard to that particular widget. It obviously won't work the exact same way in every widget for everyone. Just like groovyapi reading the WW file isn't done exactly the same in every widget. May need a little (or a lot) tweaking to get it working in other widgets.

Well actually - the groovyApi reading the WW file has worked consistently and is done the same way in all widgets to successfully convert to WW-based widgets for use in GL+/GB+. No variation really there - except multi-location widgets or non.. The BatteryStats one is less reliable in my testing. You can have the syntax perfect and it will work in one widget and not the other. Weird as hell.

Been trying to get another one working today and had no luck myself yet. I think it may be more than just the groovyapi issue though. A lot of these widgets that have ram and battery stats have multiple htmls throughout the widget. From my own experience with GL+ this has caused me some issues where I have had to consolidate scripts and other stuff that would normally be fine in separate files into the LockBackground.html. Think this may be playing a part in it not working in all widgets.

Think I may have just confirmed my suspicion with that. The widget I've been trying to get working here: -imageuploadedbymodmyi1426200270.460392.jpg

Took the battery html out of the widget and made it its own html widget, made the Groovyapi change and worked one time. So something about how the main html is calling these other separate htmls GL+ just does not like.

It still works. You just have to make sure you have the right version of iTunes installed on your PC or Mac

Yes Apple stopped signing 8.1.2. You cannot restore to 8.1.2.

But the questions was is 8.1.2 Jailbreakable. To which the answer is yes.

If you're on 8.1.2 Unjailbroken you can still jailbreak.

Ok, can be miss leading as it can be interpreted both ways . I take it that when someone ask if a firmware can still be JB they mean restore and JB and it surely sounds like that's what he's was asking if he's having problems with his phone .

Just answered the question that was asked. No worries. Wasn't trying to be misleading.

He actually followed up the question with "so taig still works?" which makes the question seem to be about using taig on 8.1.2 which will always be possible.

Hey guys...is there a way to move the battery stats down a bit so the convergence tabs are not in the way? I searched the CSS file as well as the main.js. Does anyone know if it is possible?

Simon, you unabashed genius, you!!! I think you did it!! Solved the mystery.. I'm quite sure all the ones that didn't work for me for battery had the nested battery code within the main html rather than it being broken out.... I'll try that when I get a chance.. So you called for a separate BATTERY HTML from within LockBackround.html and THEN the battery code worked with groovyAPI.do syntax?

OF, though I agree with your good intent to answer the 'actual question'.. I agree with JA here.. that when it comes to 'firmware JB-ability' you (we) have to be careful to answer the 'real question they're asking'.. When someone is asking about whether something is still jailbreakable.. the answer can never be 'it will always be jailbreakable' unless a current firmware is 'signable forever', bro.. If a noob were to hear you say what you said - they would restore believing that you'd told them it was okay.. It wouldn't be much solace to them to hear any of us say.. "I was just answering the question posed".. when they were stuck on 8.1.3.. Of course there was no intent to mislead.. but let's 'all' be OVER-careful when answering a question like that.. don't you think?

I simply would have said... "Yes, TAIG still works if you have a device currently on 8.1.2 unjailbroken. But Apple is no longer signing 8.1.2 so you can't restore to it."... Simple.. a few extra typed words...

    Ya feel me?

In the Style.css. BatteryImage, StateDisplay, LevelDisplay. Just adjust the top percentage for those 3 things to move it around.

Huh? Other way around man. Didn't work with multiple htmls.

I typically run it with a 'blank' Convergance theme. That way it's all screen baby!!!
