In my first tries I missed also some changes.

@ian no im using eraysers boss sb and chevys ww lock for LS with convergance. they both work fine with normal groovylock and sbhtml but in getting random resprings. i uninstalled groovylock, api and sbhtml then installed groovyboard+ and api + but when i activate eraysers sb in GB+ it only shows the layer and no animations with it also saying no internet.....

    Oooo, I like this classification.

did you read the posted link? did you uninstall the groovy/sbhtml/api? did you install the 3 + version with retcode=0? did you put your old sbhtml (modified to groovyboard+) to the groovyboard folder?

I think I had the same problem. If your using locale as the weather source then you must use the widgetweather source. When I'm using locale it doesent work on Eraysers boss SB widget but it works perfectly with widgetweather.

Correct! This has been discussed earlier in the thread. WKWebView, the underlying engine in GB+/GL+ that prevents our respringing, isn't compatible with older-technology "RSS feed" calls - like the call that 'locale' mode makes to Yahoo for it to return data in UniAW7.

I have been working on a rewrite to the location.js to get around this limitation - but it's taking more time than I expected.

Locale, though, is a step backward and Dacal only put it back in for us in the early days after jailbreak when WidgetWeather wasn't working. It's an older functionality from several years ago and I wouldn't expect Ian & Dacal to support it forever.

    document.getElementById("hours_minutes").innerHTML = currentHours + "**" + currentMinutes;
I think I need to settle for a smaller size font (maybe by one px)...

If I do text align left, when I have a leading zero is fine, but when the hours have a leading one, everything gets bunched up to the left....same for the text-align right....so text-align center is what works best...even when I have ones in the minutes (being the thinnest number) it shifts a little bit as opposed to not having ones...but it mostly stays where it should be...makes sense?...

I think a smaller size font (even thou it would shift back and forth a little bit when numbers change width) the hours and minutes would stay inside their respective 'square grids' at all times...

Thanks for all the help and all of the UniAW team...by the way...I'm in iOS7.0.4 and have WW2 installed with all of the features working 100% thus far...so thanks to the WW2 team as well...

Yes, needs to be a little smaller text. Yes it must be aligned center or it will shift with small numbers, also look into making the shadow indented so the numbers look like they are on the paper, the drop shadow isn't working for you. Good luck.

    Point 1.
Complete rubbish, WKWebView can display a widget using locale codes, but not through Groovy+ stuff.

    Point 2.
Mmmmm, sure you're up to this, I think not, please prove me wrong.

    Point 3.
UniAW I feel should always have locale & gps options, because with locale we don't need to rely on others tweaks for UniAW to work, also true with GPS option as I now have my own "on demand" tweak for getting coordinates.
We don't know WW will be updated for IOS9, 10....

For what it's worth, if I ever in the future make a WW like tweak/app to obtain weather data, I would make it "on demand", I like the "on demand" option miles better than automatic, the only reason I stopped using my "on demand" Lat n Long app is I like to see the hourly forecast & POP available in WW2.
But the "refresh Now" option in the WW2 settings is too deep in the settings for practical use, I would love to see an icon on SB to manually refresh WW2 so we could use it "non automatic", that would be awesome and the icing on the cake to an already great tweak.

Please provide your evidence. Otherwise I'll consider your statement 'rubbish'.

Point 2. Mmmmm, sure you're up to this, I think not.
Stop being an azz with me, Ian. You're really starting to tick me off. You haven't got a clue what I'm 'up to' because you choose to only hang out here and not stay current in other places where I'm thanked by a lot of forum members as a 'go to' person (and not just in the workaround thread). Please stop the silly attacks. Makes you look - well - petty.

Point 3. UniAW I feel should always have locale & gps options, because with locale we don't need to rely on others tweaks for UniAW to work, also true with GPS option as I now have my own "on demand" tweak for getting coordinates.

Yeah. I like this plan.. But Dacal mentioned it was not promised for future. And Jake confirmed with testing that WK (the likely future of HTML on iPhone iOS9 and beyond) no longer will be relying on RSS feed-based api calls. At least the version of WK we're using now. As soon as he made a call to the json or xml based feeds from within GL+ the call worked - proving it has nothing at all to do with GL+ and everything to do with limitations on RSS feeds in WK.. Can you prove otherwise? Love to see your proof, sir...

I left GCB cause of you, I left your thread cause of you, I don't participate much in other threads where you are, period. I'm not leaving this thread pal.

Ian, just FYI, you can set an Activator action to use the "Force Refresh" button in WW2. Not really sure that I'm keen on adding an icon to the SB. Just seems too obtrusive. But you never know, maybe if I had additional requests for it.
