    Hey fellas, do any of you know what could be the issue here!?......my Safari browser quits when I click on a download link....I've tried resetting my network settings, cleared browser cache/cookies....I'm getting ready to restore as a last resort, unless I figure something out soon. Any help is appreciated, PM me to keep this thread on topic.

    I've had exactly the same problem for about a week now and can't find the issue. I've restored and set up as new and initially it goes back to working okay but then the same problem starts again even with only a couple of tweaks added. I've removed tweaks but the problem persists. The only way I can basically use safari to download is by holding on the download link and selecting to open in a new page instead of just clicking and downloading. If you find the cause of the problem would be really grateful to hear what it is.

    PS thanks for all your amazing mods.

    It's an issue with Gl+. You have to click and open in new page or it won't work.

    Hi Ferlop.

    Maybe its something to do with ios 8 jailbreak.
    I got the same issue.

    You can download normal, if you hold the finger at the download button from that site.
    Then you get a window popup option to open in a other window.

    Click on that and you ready to go.
    Hope that helps.

    ( I just see that more people answer the same question.) lol. My bad.

    It's a bug in WKWebView that GL+ and GB+ use.. Jake is aware of it but Apple must fix. It's another of those - 'do I want resprings?' or 'do I want pop up windows in Safari?'.. Well we want both.. Current workaround is just to long press on link until you get the option to open in new window. This doesn't work for embedded video links though.. But embedded html no prob.

    No download.
    It is working fine so far and stable, but there is still this feeling it is not complete. I can not put my finger on it what it is that is missing and until I am happy with it it stays under wraps.
    And yes, it could easily be changed to use any weather service that sends response files, xml or json - it is easier to read local xml files then local json files with javascript.
    It is not huge, but involves a lot of little different things that all play together.
    Setting menu, LaunchDaemon, shell script, lynx (command line browser), cycript, cydget, symlinks: all OpenSource, no compiled close source tweak.
    More info link on page 172 post 3440. It describes how it works.

    As you know cydgets load every time completely new, which seemed to be a bad point for some. Well, I like it and especially this fact ensures that cycript gets the GPS coordinates every time you open the lockscreen cydget. In my eyes this is the best form of GPS location as it happens instantly as soon as you activate the lockscreen (provided your first cydget has this cycript code). It does not monitor any significant changes (battery eater even it it is only a few percent per day) it just happens every time you activate the lockscreen, which is when you actually want an exact GPS location.
    These latitude and longitude values are available for javascript (cycript code runs before javascript starts) and also saved in local files. At least that's the way I set it. If for example I added a Google Maps call it would give you the address of the place you activated the LS, every time!
    As you do not need to touch or press a button or do anything else to get a GPS position update, as it runs in the background automatically, it is fair enough to say that it is auto-updating and that actually puts Junes code ahead of anything else.
    Which other theme gives you a on-the-spot GPS location update every time you run it?
    Nothing is impossible only miracles take a bit longer!

    I disagree with this!

    You have to open the lockscreen for it to update by either pressing the power button or the home button correct? So how is this auto updating? You are still using a manual button press to update.

    WW2 can, of course. With it set to Standard GPS mode I get an exact position every single meter I travel... sent immediately to my widgets. They would update every second via Javascript refreshTimers if I instructed them to do so. Widget Weather doesn't require any of the keystroke steps you're referring to with yours or June's.. That's way too many keystrokes for me. I don't want to have to open my LockScreen every time I want to check my position or touch my screen or any of that. We were able to do that 3 years ago in iOS5 - and get exact GPS location with a step by the user. With WidgetWeather I'm able to turn off my auto lock and every 10 seconds my iWidget delivers me a new street address on my screen of my exact location. It delivers me all the accuracy and nearly the immediacy of the auto updating of a turn by turn directions app with little to no additional battery drain (2-5% per day leaving it in constant GPS mode). Now, "that's" TRUE auto updating. What June created requires action by the user, my friend, which doesn't meet 'my' standard for the word "auto updating". To get a new location shouldn't require ANY action by the user - at all! Then and only then can it use the term "auto updating" in my view. 😉

    Now there are some practical limitations a widget designer would want to be careful of if they're using API calls to google and Wu which have caps per day on the amount of calls allowed. (2500/day for Google and 500/day for WU).. But most WW users never have to worry about that as there are no limits on the call Apple makes to weather.com.

    It's just important we make a distinction between "user keystroke triggered updating" of June's code and "true continuous auto updating" of WW.

    Thanks, both worked like a charm!

    Thanks to those that were talking about masking earlier. I wanted to share my exquisite shelves mod for the 6/6+ using UniAW7... but I was using wall paper with cut out holes... so you couldn't choose wallpaper from settings or camera roll like the exquisite shelves mod I shared for the iPhone 5. Tonight I added masks... so users can use any wallpaper background they want. I'll share tomorrow on MJ's widget thread.

    Read this post HERE, #7308, might help you.

    Here is how do do what you want:

    1. "Ian or anybody else knows how to remove (if possible) the colon in the digital clock"?

    Replace the colon in this line with a space:
    Code:
    getElementById("hours_minutes").innerHTML = currentHours + ":" + currentMinutes;
    "2. I'd like to add the leading '0' for the hours in the 12h clock"

    Add this line to this code:
    Code:
    	if (ampm == false) {
    		timeOfDay = "";
    		currentHours = ( currentHours < 10 ? "0" : "" ) + currentHours;
    		currentTimeString = currentHours + ":" + currentMinutes;
    	} else {
    		currentHours = ( currentHours > 12 ) ? currentHours - 12 : currentHours;
    		currentHours = ( currentHours == 0 ) ? 12 : currentHours;
    		currentHours = ( currentHours < 10 ? "0" : "" ) + currentHours;
    		currentTimeString = currentHours + ":" + currentMinutes + " " + timeOfDay;
    	}
