Love it, Ras! I've always loved WeatherUnderground as a weather service. I use their API in my Location iWidget as a choice. Marty has as well in a couple of his. The FreeAPI requirement is the only thing preventing it from being more widely used. Not practical to release something where you have to tell a person to go sign up for a service. Even a free one. But I did.. And I love it.

    Hi,

I'm sorry if this has been answered. I have read through the pages and through the Groovy+ threads, but have this problem I didn't see come up or may have missed. When I use Max's mod or one I've converted I get "fair" and sunshine/clear animations all the time even though it is pouring rain. Is there something I missed or can change? I'm using the "+" and have WW2 (and on GPS). Everything appears to be working fine except it doesn't change the actual weather.

Thank you so much for the animations back, but it would be nice to have accurate weather. Can anyone direct me to a solution?

    Thanks for any help.

Is your iPhone Weather.app reporting the raining condition? Or is it also reporting Fair?

It says "mostly sunny" when it's been pouring all day. How do I fix this and thanks for your help!

EDIT: I googled this and did check my privacy settings and did have location services turned on appropriately. Looked through settings to see if there was something missing, but I can't see it. I'll keep looking around on google.

    Complain to weather.com!

Not much we can do if the app and the widget are coinciding.

    Check out WW3 for iOS 9/10 - Widget-Weather 3.0

I managed to fix my weather app, but it's still sunny here according to my widgets. Very odd & have no idea what to change.

Well, it is the same with every theme. It never is just the theme on its own, every theme requires something else in order to work!
If that something extra is a tweak, an app or a free API key does not matter to the principle.
Luckily there is a choice and the choice is yours.
You don't like a requirement then don't run it!
Nobody is forcing you to do something, except yourself.
I would love to run UniAW, but I don't like weather.com, hence WidgetWeather (btw brilliant concept) is out of the question. OK, there are other options like fixed woeid, but I like current GPS. So maybe MyLocation tweak with UniAW cydget. Nah ... haven't used MyLocation for ages. Don't fancy a iOS5 tweak to run on iOS8, apart from battery drain with constant GPS monitoring.
There you go, lots of choices but if you pick one you have to take another step. Don't like that step, OK, so don't run it.
    That's how I see it.
Don't want to get a free API key? Then don't do it and ignore themes that require it. Dead simple!
You should know me by now that I don't do "crowd pleasing" stuff. I do what I think is fun to make and what works best for me and if I am the only one ever using it then that perfectly fine.
Nothing is impossible only miracles take a bit longer!

    Many thanks,
Z-indexes are relevant to the items containers (if they have one), so look in the html file to figure out your issue, e.g, look at this:
    Code:
    <div id="WeatherContainer"> // z-index of 1
        <div id="myCurtain"></div> // z-index of 20
    </div>
    <div id="small_balloonContainer"></div> // z-index of 10

So in the css file I'm looking at the settings for "myCurtain" and see it's z-index set to 20.
I also see that the z-index for the "small_balloonContainer" is set to 10, so why are the balloons still in front of myCurtain? Grrrr...

By looking in the html file, I can see that the "myCurtain" div is a child of the "WeatherContainer" div (which has a z-index of 1), so therefore I must set the z-index of "small_balloonContainer" lower than 1 to have them behind "myCurtain". Yippee!

    ---------------------

Of coarse in my example above there is little point in giving the "myCurtain" div any z-index value because it's the only div that's a child of the "weatherContainer" div, so in reality, it will always have a z-index of 1, but if there were 20 child div's inside the "weatherContainer" then we can use z-index to organise them all.

I have tried to make this as clear as I possibly can, but may have ended up confusing you.

I've seen that some where but couldn't get the weather to work with GB+ and i6+. That looks so cool. Reminds great work Erayser…
Really glad to see your back modding again and specially hell7. Few others. But since I have i6+ and new GB+ and GL+ I can't find no LockScreen or sbhtml to work with my IDevice 😢anyway.

Hey Ray just an idea for this one, on the forecast side try moving the little weather icons over to the left more and put the hi/low to the right of it vertically (hi over low or vice versa) and the day where the hi/low is, what do you think about that?

You do realize that WW has been creating the myLocation.txt file since its inception on iOS 6? So no need to run an old tweak like that.
