    Did you download them? It's a separate download, check original post (HERE (post #3141)). Download "WeatherWalls", unzip the file, put the "Weather" folder into "UniAW7_Pa1n.theme/Images/Wallpapers" folder.

    What mod are you adding the switch to?
    Found the problem, i had to remove the GroovyAPI line which i put under the //JQuery line .

    Hey there. I added the year code at the end of Ian's single line code. So if you want to have 2015 at the end of the date here is the code below. This goes in the Main.js file. Do everything the same as Ian posted above. Thanks Ian.

    // Single Line Date
    if (Single_Line_Date == true) {
    document.getElementById("SingleLineDate").innerHTM L = days[currentTime.getDay()] + ", " + months[currentTime.getMonth()] + " " + Suffix(currentDate) + ". " + currentTime.getFullYear();

    Yes.. For those who had already added that line for running in GL+ it's part of the code that needed to be replaced. I will make a note of that in my original post in the "replace this" section. Thanks, JA! Good catch!

    That's strange, Ian. Works perfectly for me in Taco in test mode.. and two phones I tested on. Could it be what JAwonder mentioned above? Did you leave the groovyAPI line that you'd added as the simple fix before? I left that out of the "replace this" block in my explanation. Updated now.

    Also for TestMode on computer make sure var GroovyLockPlus in the config.js is set to "false".

    Sure, I can try to explain. For those of you that want the cool "Signori Glow" (there bro, just immortalized you - lol), here's how to make it so it just comes on at night in UniAW7....

    First, in config.js change...

    Code:
    var font_color_night = "#FFFFFF";
    Then in main.js change...

    Code:
    if (navigator.userAgent.indexOf('OS 6') == -1) {
    		$("<style> .gray_bkg { -webkit-transform: translateZ(0); -webkit-filter: grayscale(0.4) brightness(0.8); } .dark_bkg { -webkit-transform: translateZ(0); -webkit-filter: grayscale(0.6) brightness(0.6); } .FontColorNight { color: " + font_color_night + "; text-shadow:0px 0px 5px #0CBAF3, 0px 0px 10px #0CBAF3; } .FontColorDay { color: " + font_color_day +"; text-shadow: 0px 1px 2px #000000, 0px 1px 4px #000000; } .second_color_day { box-shadow: 0 0 0 " + Math.ceil(8*iPhone_Width_Ratio) + "px " + ((Seconds_LightRing_Color == "") ? font_color_day : Seconds_LightRing_Color) + " inset; } .second_color_night { box-shadow: 0 0 0 " + Math.ceil(8*iPhone_Width_Ratio) + "px " + ((Seconds_LightRing_Color == "") ? font_color_night : Seconds_LightRing_Color) + " inset; } </style>").appendTo( "head" );
    	} else {
    		$("<style> .gray_bkg {	-webkit-transform: translateZ(0); -webkit-filter: grayscale(0.4) brightness(-0.3); } .dark_bkg { -webkit-transform: translateZ(0); -webkit-filter: grayscale(0.6) brightness(-0.5); } .FontColorNight { color: " + font_color_night + "; text-shadow:0px 0px 5px #0CBAF3, 0px 0px 10px #0CBAF3; } .FontColorDay { color: " + font_color_day +"; text-shadow: 0px 1px 2px #000000, 0px 1px 4px #000000; } .second_color_day { box-shadow: 0 0 0 " + Math.ceil(8*iPhone_Width_Ratio) + "px " + ((Seconds_LightRing_Color == "") ? font_color_day : Seconds_LightRing_Color) + " inset; } .second_color_night { box-shadow: 0 0 0 " + Math.ceil(8*iPhone_Width_Ratio) + "px " + ((Seconds_LightRing_Color == "") ? font_color_night : Seconds_LightRing_Color) + " inset; } </style>").appendTo( "head" );
    	}
    What this does is set a standard basic text-shadow during the day and the "glow effect" text-shadow at night. But not done yet....

    You need to open up the CSS file for your phone. It's either Style4.css, Style5.css, Style6.css, Style6plus.css & Style6plus-landscape.css. You need to remove the "text-shadow" line from every element you want this glow effect applied to.

    Example...
    Code:
    #Day1HiLo {
    	position: absolute;
    	text-align:right;
    	top: 130px;
    	width:375px;
    	text-shadow: Black -2px 2px 2px;
    	font-size:12px;
    	font-weight:bold;
    }
    That's it! I hope all this makes sense. Would love to hear if someone successfully made it happen based on these instructions lol!

    Enjoy and happy Sunday!

    I think I discovered what may have gone wrong in Ian's test the other day of the switch added to UniAW7 - maybe same thing as Jawonder's issue.. (when Ian says something isn't working - it's not workin!! )

    My testing had been on UniAW7rc9 and UniAW7_pa!n (Max's mod) based on rc9.. Just now I tested rc10_GroovyLock with the JQuery.get line rather than the groovyapi simple fix line - and Ian's experience, of it not working in test mode, was my experience just now as well.. So something's different in rc10 that won't allow my switch instructions to work in XML_TEST mode on a computer.. Dacal did some subtle adjustments to rc10_Groovylock that I believe only had to do with GroovyLock+ operation and I believe Ian was encouraging us all to use rc9 for that reason.. But I'll keep reviewing past posts..

    What I can say with confidence is that the switch instructions I posted a couple pages back work on UniAW7rc9 (which is Ian's release version on page #1 of this thread) and any mod based on it that didn't change the updateWeather function (which would be rare for a modder to change that section of the code except to grab more data from xml - like my address code - though switch still works even if you add some more get xml data).

    So on computer in test mode, on phone in test mode and on phone in GroovyLockPlus = false or true... Switch has been thoroughly tested... In fact.. I'll post the main.js here for you to try on your rc9 or mod of rc9.. YOU WILL STILL NEED TO ADD THIS LINE TO YOUR CONFIG.JS.
    Code:
    var GroovyLockPlus = false; //true only for use with GroovyLock+
    This should work on any phone using iOS8 and when switch is set to false will work in test mode on computer and in all iOS8-approved LS screen players except Cydget. (so LH4, Convergence, GroovyLock/original).

    Let me know if this is not the case.. and I will check what's up with rc_10 and rc10_Groovylock

    "Tutorial - Simple conversion for WW widget to work with Groovylock+/Groovyboard+"

    Post #1 contains the links to GroovyLock+ and Groovyapi+ which you'll both need and you'll need to get rid of the old groovyAPI (in expert mode in Cydia on your phone) and the old GroovyLock.. Follow instructions carefully as this is still in alpha test mode.. And then post #2 tells you how to add a single line of code to a WW2-based LS to allow it to work in GroovyLock+.

    No. If you're not sure how to install a .deb file - then the rest of this process may not be a good idea for you. It's very techy.

    A .deb file is an installer file.. Make sure GroovyLock, GroovyAPI and GroovyBoard are all UNinstalled with Cydia before starting this process.

    Then download groovyAPI+, GroovyLock+ and GroovyBoard+ to your phone into your var/mobile/Documents folder.

    Then clik on the groovyAPI+ /deb file and when iFile asks you - click on INSTALL.. Make sure the last thing you see in the next window is RESULT CODE: 0.. If you see a 256 or 512 you've done something wrong..

    Then repeat the above step for the GroovyLock+ .deb file and GroovyBoard+ .deb file.

    Then you're installed.. Then you have to convert one of your widgets to work in GroovyLock+ by the instructions in post #2 of my thread on Workarounds linked in my signature. Good luck. If you have have further questions ask them in that thread.

    Install using IFile on your phone as I said in last post. WinSCP isn't involved in the process at all.
