    Tried 2 different versions.

    I'm using convergance. Maybe that's the issue?

    If you are on iOS 8, then you need to run WW2

    There are 2 versions of GL too! Or are you just running Convergance without GL?

  3. #3183
    By GL, you mean groovy lock?

  4. #3184
    Yes

  5. #3185
    So I should give up on convergance, I think. Not a lot of compatibility for widgets I've found.

  6. #3186
    Default UniAW7
    I wouldn't, it's all I use. But I also run GL+ on top of it if I want to run a widget that needs that. Convergance is absolutely fabulous!

    You just need to activate a blank theme in Convergance and then turn on GL and you have the best of both worlds.

    Oh ok! I tried to use lockhtml on top of convergance and it didn't work.

  9. #3188
    The key is that blank theme in Convergance.

    go into style.css, go all the way to the bottom and look for overlayBig. Add display:none;

  16. #3192
    No, create a file in iFile named Blank.theme and stick it in you LockHTML folder and select it in Convergance. Then turn GL on and select the LS you want to run from there. This will allow the touch functions to work and you can turn off the Convergance clock too.

    Hi Max,

    To add the single line date:

    In html files (all 3 of them) add the line in red:
    Code:
    <div id="WeatherContainer">
        <div id="SingleLineDate"></div>
    	<div id="WeatherInfoBG"></div>
    	<div id="city"></div>
    	<div id="Day0desc"></div>
    In Style.css files: (you will have to adjust #top position to suit your needs).
    Code:

    #SingleLineDate{
        position:absolute;
        top:350px;
        text-align:center;
        width:100%;
        font-size:13px;
        text-shadow: black -1px 1px 1px, black -2px 2px 3px;
    }

    In main.js file: add the lines in red
    Code:
    			document.getElementById("hours_minutes").innerHTML = currentHours + ":" + currentMinutes;
                document.getElementById("ampm").innerHTML = timeOfDay;
                document.getElementById("second").innerHTML = currentSeconds;
            }
        }

        // Single Line Date
        if (Single_Line_Date_Optional_Format == true) {
            if (Single_Line_Date == true) {
                if (Single_Line_Date_Suffix == true) {
                    document.getElementById("SingleLineDate").innerHTML = days[currentTime.getDay()] + ", " + Suffix(currentDate) + " " + months[currentTime.getMonth()] + ", " + currentTime.getFullYear() + ".";
                } else {
                    document.getElementById("SingleLineDate").innerHTML = days[currentTime.getDay()] + ", " + currentDate + " " + months[currentTime.getMonth()] + ", " + currentTime.getFullYear() + ".";
                }

    Hmm.. I wish there were a section in post #1 where we could add all Ian's great code adding tips.. There would just be a link after each title to the post # in this thread.. Such important stuff..

    Add Delorean to UniAW7 = post #
    Add Single Line Date to UniAW7 = post#
    Add GroovyLock+ functionality = post#
    etc, etc....

    HUGE thanks to Bootsbrown for personally helping me all morning. I'm sure I would have given up as I had old versions of pretty much everything.

    Default GroovyLock+ swtich code added to UniAW7 from post#1(rc9)
    TESTED AS FUNCTIONAL for UNIAW7 for iPhone 4,5,6 (from post#1 of this thread) and mods based on it like MaxPa!n's recent one.
    Okay.. I had a little extra time today... and finally tested this myself.. For those of you wanting to add the GroovyLockPlus switch into your config.js.. UniAW7 is set up a little differently than the new 02_WidgetWeather_Base.. Here's what you need to do to make it work in UniAW7 for 4,5,6 -based mods...

    in main.js--
    Replace all this:
    Code:
    function updateWeather() {
    if (XML_TEST == true) { var url = "widgetweather" + xmlnumber + ".xml"; } else { var url = "file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/widgetweather" + xmlnumber + ".xml"; }
    //jQuery.get(url, function(data) {
    groovyAPI.do ({ read: files }, function(data) {
    with this:
    Code:
    function updateWeather() {
    	var files = "widgetweather" + xmlnumber + ".xml";
    		if (GroovyPlus == true) {
    			groovyAPI.do ({ read: files }, function(data) { weatherHandler(data);
    			}).fail(noInfo);
    		 } else {
    			if (XML_TEST == true) { url = files; } else { url = "file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/" + files; }
    				jQuery.get(url, function(data) { weatherHandler(data);
    				}).fail(noInfo);
    		 }
    	// REINITIALIZE THE TIMER TO NOT LAUNCH MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF THE FUNCTION
    	clearTimeout(refreshTimer);
    	refreshTimer = setTimeout(updateWeather, 30*1000);
    }

    function noInfo(){
    	  document.getElementById("Day0desc").innerHTML = "No widgetweather.xml file !";
    	  document.getElementById("WeatherInfoBG").style.display = "none";
    	  document.getElementById("forecastBG").style.display = "none";
    	  document.getElementById("hourlyforecastBG").style.display = "none";
    	  document.getElementById("mooninfoBG").style.display = "none";
    }

    function weatherHandler (data)  {
    Then later in the code--
    Remove ONLY the code in red:
    Code:
    // CONDITION CHANGE
    CheckCondition();
    }
    }).fail(function() {
    document.getElementById("Day0desc").innerHTML = "No widgetweather.xml file !";
        document.getElementById("WeatherInfoBG").style.display = "none";
        document.getElementById("forecastBG").style.display = "none";
        document.getElementById("hourlyforecastBG").style.display = "none";
    document.getElementById("mooninfoBG").style.display = "none";
    });
    // REINITIALIZE THE TIMER TO NOT LAUNCH MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF THE FUNCTION
    clearTimeout(refreshTimer);
    refreshTimer = setTimeout(updateWeather, 30*1000);
    }

    function fetchWeatherData(zip) {
    var url="http://xml.weather.yahoo.com/forecastrss/" + zip + "&u=c&d=6.xml";
    $.get(url, function(data) {
    Lastly -- in the config.js add:
    Code:
     var GroovyPlus = false; // TRUE only for use with Groovylock+/Groovyboard+

    Maybe like some sort of thread index or glossary the same like Rob(bars) had for ClassifiedHD back in the day.
