    Glad you got it . Do you mean Kirk Road ?, that's very close to where i live. I'm about a half mile from Military Trail.

    LOL, very weird, just for curiosity, can I see you widgetweather.xml file from var/mobile/Documents please (zip it & post it here).
    I think the coordinates come from "extraLocName" not "extraLockLine1"!
    Maybe you can use "extraLocStreet" but cannot tell till I see your xml file.

    FYI, I cannot test this address addon in my area as my address doesn't exist, so I need to use/test with "other peoples" xml files.

    Let me know if you cannot post it, cause I'm waiting here for you.

Variables have to be declared first.. where a function can placed anywhere in the code (pretty much) and be called from anywhere else. I certainly bow to Dacal's expertise over mine.. LOL!!!.. So here's the way the switch will now appear in the 02_WidgetWeather_Base when released in Cydia as part of WidgetWeather2.0. Parts in red are changes from other switch code I posted here..

    Code:
    function weatherHandler (data) { ..... all parsing code here ...... }

    function updateWeather() {
        var files = "widgetweather.xml"; /* comment this out ( // ) if using a multi-location widget*/
        //var files = "widgetweather" + xmlnumber + ".xml"; /* use this only for multi-location widgets only*/
        switch (GroovyLockPlus) {
    	case true:
    	    groovyAPI.do ({ read: files }, function(data) { weatherHandler(data); });
    	break;
    	case false:
    	    if (XML_TEST == true) { url = files; } else { url = "file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/" + files; }
    	    jQuery.get(url, function(data) { weatherHandler(data); }).fail( function () {
    		document.getElementById("desc").innerHTML = "No widgetweather.xml file !";
    		});
    	break;
         }

        // REINITIALIZE THE TIMER TO NOT LAUNCH MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF THE FUNCTION
        clearTimeout(refreshTimer);
        refreshTimer = setTimeout(updateWeather_XML, 30*1000);
    }
    Thanks, Dacal, for the tweak. And everyone enjoy! Follow the link in the my signature if you have any application questions that aren't UniAW7-specific related.

    Enjoy!
    Thanks for "trying" to help Grant, but I have a question for the masses, how many of you are looking at this code wondering what "parsing" means? C'mon, don't be embarrassed, even I have never used this word in my lifetime, & I have done a fair bit of coding.

    My point is, nobody will even attempt this because they won't understand what you are saying, so try not to speak in coding terms. That said, "from obj.updatetimestring down thru the color stuff" LOL... What?

    Thanks Grant..

    Yes, Ian.. fair point.. The switch code isn't geared toward the person who's never modded code before. I pretty much knew those that couldn't understand it would be self-eliminating from trying it.. just as that same group of people wouldn't be able to tackle the Delorean mod you wrote up either.

    But I agree that my explanation is needlessly complex in its wording.. What I should have said is..

    "Place all code from obj.uodatetimestring to the end of the updateWeather function in the new weatherHandler function.." And then I could give specific lines with the "replace this with this" types of modding examples you always give us..

    Good challenge, m8.. I'll update it!

    @Grant, since you use an iPh6, let me ask you.....I've experienced just occasional resprings when using UniAW only on SB.....like others, I notice it sometimes when exiting my browser (Safari/Perfect Browser) and also exiting iFile....I'm currently testing by removing certain tweaks one by one, btw

    Would you recommend upgrading to Groovy+ versions?.....are the remaining bugs in the beta version much of a hassle, like the white screens I hear about?.....and do they happen on SB also? again, I'm on iPh6....not 6+
